Say hello to my DX Mazinger Z. I finally got around to shooting this little by little and of course, it was a scary experience dealing with a delicate, expensive piece and there are a couple of scenes that may make you cringe... I left in the bloopers and scary moments for you guys to enjoy. The "breathing/whistling sounds is my heating system, not me being creepy.

All content from beginning to end was using my own music, graphic effects, animation, photographs, material and performance.

It’s been nearly a decade since this video came out, and watching this again gives me a kind of short-ish term nostalgia. I miss the past dearly.

Thanks man, there was no way I wasnt going to show how it fell. Somehow nothing happened, it bounced all over the old heater and clanged on the floor and no scuffs anywhere. Great materials! I will admit, I couldnt stand Mazinger a few years back. I thought he looked stupid. I started buying some gokins of it and it works. Sooo, you dont need to be a fan to like this, you just have to like design, quality and finish. I couldnt recommend it more than I already do. If you ever can, grab one
first off i liked the new robot in the intro, also best size comparison ever. instead of post abunch of small comments im going to try and just add as i go for one big post. my biggest problem with this guy is its mostly a showpiece. that is nice BUT part of a big thing i like in my toys is playability thats a big factory when i judge a figure. thats why im not big on revoltech. they look nice but they come apart to eachly. that being said this guy looks great.

We finally get to see your mascot in 3D! Also,the attack that comes from his eyes is called Koushiryoku Beam/Photon Beam,and the one that comes from his mouth plate is called Rust Hurricane.
LOVE the new anim! you should seriously think about getting that made as a ltd ed. figure - I'd buy it for sure.

Thanks, man, but with the current brazilian economic crisis (US$ 1 costs about R$ 4,17), it'll be hard. Nothing that selling a kidney does not resolve :P

Dude, I almost had a heart attack when I saw the prequel manga! That thing's the rarest Mazinger product, Manga OR otherwise!
With the recent DX Combattler annoucement, for sure you will getting one! I :) Have already PO'ed but man they're not cheap :)
Just thought I should have said something lol! that is a awesome figure if I had the money I would get one but, it's probably better that I don't right now!

Just watching it and tried to play with my childhood. This expensive but more worth it than other smaller size of Mazinger Z. Buy this 1 and voila, enough for classic mazinger.
thats the only flaw really but its really in how you choose to move it. We almost always grab the hand or forearm to articulate an arm. With this guy you need to grab the elbow to articulate so it wont pop off. If you can get yourself to remember that, it wont be popping off all the time.

I like how they used the music from the Super Robot Wars games.
You can find the SRC Mazinger for $40 shipped, I dont know about now though, but I have seen them at $40 shipped. $30 should be for a used one. Just bought another for $30 with the wepons set included in the price

when you say an expensive toy, MAN amazon sells it at around $888, excluding also for the Scander set $160. the size of the box is almost half the size of the largest Samsonite luggage has to offer. or the box is bigger than the legal small size carry on luggage.
and thats me saying that when it was 400 for the set and 99 for the scrander!
Is it very to fall off ? Since all hang by just the magnet?
It doesnt fall off to easily but its not a full blown toy. As long as you handle gently you will be ok
