Looks like a 8fun motor kit on that ebike. They have up to 1000W motors, but the street legal kits are 250W. Pedal assist is great for long distances and for people that may have injuries, but still want to cycle. Older folks too. Love them or hate them its all good for cycling as a whole and I foresee a lot more ebikes in the future.
It may still be legal, I built my own and the motor cuts out at 15Mph but I have a larger chainring so once you are in a high gear when you hit top speed you can ride the inertia and add foot power and easily hit 25-28 Mph on a flat or downhill with no wind.
Me too I definitely have the strength and stamina left over to hit the 30’s after it gets me past 15 mph no problem, I ride obove 25 mph on a normal bike anyway.
Haha same with my ebike. Road bike users get upset with me that i speed past them and then when I’m slowing down for red lights they just speed past me and block my way at the lights. They should learn their place.
Aidan Brennan No he didn't jump a red light. If you look carefully you will see that there is a bypass cycle lane on the pavement to the left that starts just before the traffic lights. These kinds of bypass lanes are designed so that cyclists don't have to stop and wait at the traffic light with other road traffic.
Legal eBikes are limited to 15.5mph as you probably know. And 250w output motors. If he was legal he was doing it with leg power because the motor cuts out at 15.6 +/- 10%.
That ebike is illegal? It should limited to 15.5,he has probably derestricted it, call the police 👮♀️ he should be paying insurance as he is above the legal limit set out for ebikes

The street legal kits say they are 250W, but usually are 500w or 750w in reality.

He had your pants down
OMG, driving on the wrong side of the road. Also, no yellow line as indication that the other side is for on coming traffic.
That’s a one way street in Vauxhall London
Love your vids, just wondering tho, how do you get the speed overlay and stuff? what do you use to record it all?
Snipe Camp I use a Sony as30 which has GPS built in. the sony play memories software allows you to add the gps data.
The ebike and e-scooter laws have been written with strong influence from oil and car companies. It's totally corrupt.
Agreed! Lets restrict those ebikes to death by law to make them undesirable to own. How dare electric bikes compete against those fuel companies.
Fuck the Law Break free from the Matrix 😈
Wait how we're you going that fast then
hello fella. what camera are you using?? I like the accelerometer features etc. Cheers!
TT bars on a commuting cycle ? No wonder you don't like some one infront of you with out trying to turn it into QOM challenge ..
i want to be a cyclist plz
And he jumped the lights lol
I doubt that, jumping whilst riding a bike usually makes you crash.

Ben Powe There is such a thing as pedals.
