Thank you, Shikh community, for what you are doing in Detroit's rundown neighborhoods, I am Black American, born and raised in Detroit. I grew up in the late 60s earth 70s. Never in my wildest dreams, would I imagine Detroit going Bankrupt, the urban blight, crime, moving away, etc. - again- Thank you.
Sikhs are honestly some of the most generous and compassionate people in the world, their religion teaches them to be humanitarian and altruistic in all aspects. I cannot stress enough that as an Indian Hindu how much sikhs have contributed to society to make it a better place for everyone. Sikhs have protected all communities (especially Hindus) selflessly and I am so thankful that Guru Nanak started this great religion for without him India would not have been Hindu majority nation today. I am incredibly thankful for the sikh people and it frustrates and angers me when people confuse islam with the sikh religion! Did you know that the 1st victim of a 9/11 retaliation in the USA was a sikh man? But thanks Jaspreet for all the content you provide, Im a big fan of your work and Ive watched every video and gotten all 3 of your e-books. Thanks for the FREE content, appreciate it so much!
@@waterheaterservices you obviously don't know much about islam, a lot of muslims are muslims by name only so don't judge islam by looking on some idiots how understand defensing is equal to killing innocent people
btw there is hundreds of videos like this in arabic about muslims doing somethings like this but they take it to the next level, they make it sustainable they make some small businesses for poor and homeless people but you don't see any thing from islam but 9/11, though it has nothing to do with islam but with politics
I attended a school assembly where people gave away care packages that were similar. He recommended adding socks to them because the homeless usually walk hundreads of miles a week and foot health is something important but overlooked
I gave up on my Sikh half along time ago nothing against any body just the way it is being of mixed race culture. I mix more to my other side so I don't have any problems . but thank you . I was taught how to converse in the Punjabi language but don't speak it my Sikh parent taught me about the Sikh community . but again through the very bad experience I've had with Sikh people I choose not to . nothing against you just the reality logics of life and being half white half Sikh . we are looked down on by the Sikh community . but the other side accepts us doesn't care less what we are or where we come from
no offence but this video has nothing to do with the topic your referring to but to address you're comment I think you shouldn't judge a whole community based on a couple of people being rude to you. This video is about giving back, and starting change in our communities, and I think you as well as myself need to look at everyone around us and learn to give back and be grateful for what we have.
Hi I want to buy in detroit, I feel I could help make it better. I spent many summers there on vacation as a child. I am going to save for 6 months then purchase houses one by one. Could you point me to an area. I too, here in LA always give to homeless. Thank You
so tell me how do the Sikh community react towards a half white half Sikh woman not too good it's not racist towards or from me if your community that's racist towards us the mixed-race people I've had seek people calling me racist names on my life I've had my own family call me racist names all my life and you preach that you have one God and you're all holy take a leaf out of a half white half Sikh woman's book it's not too good it's ok you people's meeting a white person marrying them but if the children that suffer and believe you me it hurts so I don't in to mix with my Sikh side I stay away from the Sikh side and I in to mix with the right side because they've never been racially abusive some of the racially abusive slander has come from everywhere from you Sikh community
Sorry miss. I do not know your story or do not understand it. I guess that you haven't been treated well by the Sikh side of your family. Well. Let me tell you some things. We Sikhs, though very tolerant, are people who are still a bit old fashioned. Our community is quite conservative in nature and I guess that's what been effecting you. But there are many of us who are very outspoken and modern too. Some of us are trying to balance out the conservatism in us and so please do not think that all of us are like this. Please don't give up on us yet. :)
Well done Jaspreet! We need more people like you!
Too right
