- Wow, it's been a CRAZY but amazing week for Halloween Horror Nights Orlando announcements! Last Friday, we received the exciting news that Slaughter Sinema 2 would be our first original house for HHN33. Then this week, we received a new original house announcement EACH DAY! These houses included Goblin's Feast, Major Sweet's Candy Factory, The Museum: Deadly Exhibits, Monstruos: the Monsters of Latin America, and Triplets of Terror. Let's discuss it all, plus the rumors of what's left to come!

It's been such a rock n roll week and I loooove that you waited and did them all in one vid like this. HHN Queen!!! I'm most excited for Goblin's Feast, and also hope it will be a fresh and new take, but old school Halloween feeling. It's been so nice this week that everyone's just been happy and having fun with the announcements. I haven't seen anyone being a naysayer, only good vibes and I'm loving it.
Man, next week is going to seem like such a let down after all the excitement from this week! But I'm so happy we got them all spaced out day by day. And oh yes, I could NOT fathom trying to do a video each day. No way! And I completely agree - I really feel like the community was having a blast together!
Monday when Goblin's Feast was announced was absolutely wild. I'm in a Discord server for HHN fans on a Reddit forum, and we lost our minds when our group of insiders started revealing that we were gonna get the originals announced every day this week. We were placing bets on which house would get announced, discussing which house would be located, and hyper-analyzing the key art... It's been such a fun week. I think Goblin and Triplets were the biggest surprises because we really didn't know what to expect from them. The other 4 houses were at least mentioned on the Spec maps and were in the rumor mills, so those 2 houses have had the biggest reactions from me so far.
Oooh I bet that was super fun to experience all together on the Discord! I love that you were all taking bets for it. LOL! Triplets was the first time I've been genuinely surprised by a house in a LONG time!
Ironically, the first time Orlando took an original concept from Hollywood was La LLorona in 2013, which became Urban Legends La LLorona over here. That was also the first time they did something with announcements like they did this week. I don't remember exactly what week it was because that was over 10 years ago but we had Havoc Derailed, Afterlife Death's Vengeance, La Llorona and AWIL all announced at midnight over a given week. Another little tidbit that I thought was kind of cool is that the artwork that Hollywood used for La LLorona was based on concept art for Dr. Mary Agana/Bloody Mary from HHN 18.

@@direfilms Yes, that was the cursed year that was 2012 but that was an IP and not an original concept.
Oooh good point! I forgot that La Llorona was at Hollywood first! The big house info dump at the end of the season used to be standard, so I wouldn't consider 2013 to be the same situation. Prior to the IP years, we'd get all the houses revealed at once one night in August at midnight. But receiving originals one by one in MAY? This is definitely a unique case!

Such a great lineup, and I’m so happy we know them all so early! The Museum is definitely number one on my hype list. Triplets of Terror is also rapidly rising on my list the more I think about it; I was unsure about it at first, but like you said, it’s exciting to have something fresh and out of left field

Ahhh such a good lineup so far!!! We did HHN Hollywood last year as well and I can tell you that was one of my favorites and the scariest house on the west coast! Cannot wait!!!

I loved how they did this, it’s essentially a dump but allows each original to have a day to shine. I am actually excited for these originals. My only question is how will getting originals first before IPs do with Ticket sales.
Yes! I love receiving them one at a time since of just receiving it all at once. Really helped give each house a moment to shine! I don't think it'll matter much for their ticket sales, as the general public who care most about IPs wouldn't be buying this early in the year anyway!

Goblin feast sound more dnd inspired like how dueling dragons were.
Mayor sweets sound like yhe events leading up to the sweet revenge scarezone.
The museum one sound intresting how they go about with that.
Actually this isnt the first time orlando took from Hollywood, back in 2013 they did la liona the crying woman which first premiered at hollywood first with el cucey being for 2013 over at hollywood
The triplets are most out of no where idea i like to see how this turns out. However the logo looked no as polish as the others especally since the triples there kinda has that A.I. look to them. Makes me wonder if they were having troubles figuring out the last ip house and got this last minute?
okay, I could totally see it being that kind of goblins as well! VERY true about La Llorona! I forgot about that one. The logo is a little stranger, but like I said in the video - I wouldn't worry about this one being last minute!
@DiscoLiz yea, something too I thought about was what if this was originally for Slaughter Sinema, but love the idea so much they turned it to an stand alone house
My top 3 hyped original houses are Museum, Goblin and Monstrous. This is just off announcements. I'll see if this changes once the Haunted Tales episodes drop. I love Haunted Tales for the backstory of the houses, but not a fan of the House Reveal episodes because they give spoilers about what's actually in the houses...
Very good choices! I hope they do more of those Haunted Tales episodes! I completely agree with you - I didn't listen to the house reveal episodes because of that!
Seems like HHN is telling alot of stories is it possible that the storyteller is coming back?
While I would love to see the Storyteller get another full year as Icon... I don't believe that's in the cards this year.
I am in California so I’m waiting for HHN first maze announcement over hear and I hope it’s next month
