Though the quirky, happy stuff is very rare and early in the career. Granted later the most positive emotions is something more like relief(deform to form a star).
It's funny, Wilson seems to be one of those rare exceptions to the rule. He was 30 in 1997 when he made Signify, and his songwriting has only improved since then.
