One of the few scenes I've seen where a weapon a cop calls an "assault rifle" was actually full-auto--although I have no clue how the cop could see the selector switch. I also love how the cops stopping an armed suspect wait to get out of their deathtrap of a vehicle until they're under fire.
There is no crossfire issues since officers on both sides of the van were protected. Also the shooter fired multiple rounds, would be common sense to shoot back if it was possible. Also I think they were firing at the passenger side window only, away from where the hostage was.
those bullets would tear straight through that car. The only way they can hide is behind the engine, but still, they would be shredded before they could hide behind the engine.
There's 4 large brakes drums and probably steel wheels and they are heavy duty and strong metal body frames below the cars . And take a while to drill a 3/8" holes in those car body frames made of steel metal.
And most police officers cars have stainless steel roll Bars that doesn't crushed the top car roof if car landed upside down and probably have steel roll Bars around the front dashboard and bottom doors around the top windshield inside the car .
WOW that's bad guy in the van has the same mad looks in his eyes as Captain America older brother Bucky in Avengers Winter Soldier. Look very similar too but without the bullet proof left arm .
No idea where you heard that, but that is absolutely untrue. According to the US military, for a firearm to be considered an assault rifle, it must possess at least all of the following traits: It must be capable of selective fire. It must have an intermediate-power cartridge: more power than a pistol but less than a standard rifle or battle rifle. Its ammunition must be supplied from a detachable box magazine. It must have an effective range of at least 300 meters (330 yards)
@@ProBreaker I did not know that fact about the US military using said nomenclature. But I believe Party Pickles statement to have some merit, because we see people using the wrong nomenclature in TV shows, movies, games and even the news very often.
It was canceled a few years back now. They have made an official YT channel to relive it. But evidently there are people who never got to see it in its prime.
@ri enzo24 No cop cars are not lined with Kevlar, this isn’t the military lmao A 9mm would go through that car like a hot knife through butter. A 5.56 would go through the engine block and still hit the officers. A car is NOT cover. Rounds don’t spark off them, they go through the car. Armour on a car is so heavy because it’s wrapped in steel. Adds an extra 3-5 thousand pounds to the over all weight. No cop car has that. The cost for maintenance would be absurd.
This is an underrated show
😂
Sam and Andy still one of my favourite tv couples love RB.
Tim and Lucy from the rookie are my all time favorite but I like andi and Sam together
The backup always comes when the situation is under control... You can hear the sirens and the helicopter at last

I didn’t realize this was just posted until i read the comments
gotta love how everyone including 86 year old grannies have full auto M4's in this show.
"Francesca you need to calm down."
These officers obviously don’t care about the crossfire easily could have shot each other but hey it’s Rookie Blue
Not to mention the civilian they had in the back of the car
Ok they other cop are kinda out of the way there is a bend where road go if you looked and they shot the front were the could see there was no one

Or the TARDIS from doctor who
*'granny' flashbacks*
he said hold position, but still that one officer went to the back of the truck disobeying a direct order.
They didn’t hold it because they had it under control as well as he could have shot same n a second since the gun shoots at rapid fire
Direct order, technically not considering McNally was still also a Constable here.
Are these officers thinking of the crossfire?
That lady got bad acting she be laughin instead of cryin
I got to watch one minute.. then I had to go to school
Did you ever finish it?🥺

I’m early... but I don’t know what to write... the pressure
WOW that's bad guy in the van has the same mad looks in his eyes as Captain America older brother Bucky in Avengers Winter Soldier. Look very similar too but without the bullet proof left arm .
Ok but where was the smoke coming from
It gives them probable cause to enter without a warrant
Yeah which would not hold up in court, which means anything they found would disqualified...terrible police work

How many people know that AR does not actually stand for assault rifle. It’s one of the many inconsistencies in this movie.
The video image looks like Nolan (The Rookie)
Yh. While watching the vid I was like where's Nolan or Chen or Bradford?!!!
Bruh the roblox door sound effect
Ohh yea because an officer wouldn’t shoot if you pointed a rifle at them no matter if there is hostages like just no way
Donde puedo ver la serie en español
This is to Endy. You are my favorite acter.I really want to see you in real life .But I can’t see you.I really love you.❤️❤️❤️

From what I’ve seen, the show looks pretty good, but for God sakes get the nomenclature right; there is no such thing as an “assault rifle.”
No idea where you heard that, but that is absolutely untrue.

I like food how ‘bout yall, my fav is noodles
i thought they cancelled the show
Yes, it's just clips of the show. It's not a new scene
It was canceled a few years back now. They have made an official YT channel to relive it. But evidently there are people who never got to see it in its prime.
Rookie blue sounds like the series called the rookie
I know its a show but realisticly a car is not the best cover an ar round could mostly likely go through it
Unless you hide behind the engine block or behind the wheels
They went right there because that's the only cover they had
@@tyshaunboland8222 well I know that i know tactics but tv shows make it seem like a car is perfect cover
