Hi, Marius and Elena. I just discovered your channel a few days ago. I really like your teaching. I have been dancing bachata and salsa for about seven years in the Washington, DC metro area, taking lots and lots of classes (I am a very slow learner) and going to many, many social dances. As you know, it became very hard (almost impossible) to do so in the time of Covid-19. Thankfully, social dancing is starting to open up again, cautiously, but the reopening of classes is still going very, very slow, with lots of restrictions. Also, it seems to me that some instructors, dance studios, or dance venues are increasing their prices, maybe due to insurance, etc. Adding to the difficulty, I had to move further away from the metro area where most of classes and events take place. Your videos are helping me learn beautiful variations on many of the fundamental moves and combos I had learned over the last seven years. Variety is the spice of life!!! I really like how you teach these moves in a quick and simple way, and how you have so many of them. I also like the small tips you give for treating the follower with care, and the tips you give to the followers. I am sometimes asked to teach in small gatherings or on a one-on-one level (for example when a follower is asking me to help her get better or understand something that I was trying to lead or when someone is having a small party at their house and wants to include social dancing) I have also been encouraged by some of my instructors to try to get a latin dance community started in the area where I now live. Of course, giving classes and trying to create events pretty much went on hold during Covid-19 a year ago, but maybe I will try again soon. Having a new variety of moves can make it more interesting to the learner(s) and give me more confidence that I will not run out of material. Another positive point about your videos: teaching style. I am constantly learning about teaching styles, and what things to emphasize, and how not to spend too much time explaining. People want to dance, not receive a lecture. I think your videos also show me how to do this better. Thank you for all you are doing.
Thank you. We are glad that we can help others spread the joy of dancing. As a teaching tip, we recommend short, concise details and a lot of practice. Only after more details and more. About the videos we do, we like to give all the details because, as you also said, doing so in classes will become boring. We like to think about the videos we do like a pool of information :D
I recently discovered your channel. I really like all your presentation of all moves and as a dance teacher i enjoy your explanations and demonstrations, especially for all the waves and circles in separate from the partner but still in synch so one can see what's happening.
That is most definetly not true.... everybody can do all these moves. How about festivals where there are 2000+ people. Of course don't be discouraged if you can't do them now... but with 1-2 months of practice you will do them.
Hey guys. Thank you again for your support.
Remember, if you like a combo/move and you want an in-depth tutorial, just let us know in a comment the number of the combo.

We’re in our 70s but we like this dance. Do you have a dance pattern for our age? Easy but looks complicated, balance and nice?
Hmmm... Sure. Will make a video about easy-cool moves :D
