City of Troy done it well. Ryan Moore got a dream run up the inside. Tbh i am not sure how strong the Epsom derby form is.
Wonderful analysis. Heart was in the red zone after 3 furlongs. As a cardiolgist this is so obvious given the 1.3 seconds he spent in the stalls. Forget timeform, I want cardiform. Anyway, agree with this expert, he will either win or lose.
Thanks for the kind words Robert. My take on the race is City of Troy will confirm Aidan O'briens hype and win or well beaten like the 2000 Guineas run at Newmarket. There are many different betting markets you can play on this race.

The only thing that's really in City Of Troy's favour is that its starting to look like a fairly weak Derby with the sad fate of the Chester Vase winner (Hidden Law), the Sandown Classic Trial winner (Arabian Crown) getting sidelined and the impressive Dante winner (Economics) probably not going.
This is a fair assessment and the race is weaker as a result. From a price perspective, the current price 2/1 is SHORT and you are COMPLETELY guessing that he bounces back. Surely there are better 2/1 chances out there?

I suspect you were trying to get on at the standout price looking at the market's now.... plus you couldn't have known Goodwin was going to restrict you so you therefore must have attempted to place the bet prior to going live which understandingly has urged you to expose them (I don't blame you tbh)
I'm on Macduff at 40/1 at what now looks a great price 👍🏇 'I'm also on the Burrows horse at massive odds for fair money(me & my 2 Sons had to run around a lot of high streets to get on under the radar in truth)....

The run at Newmarket was too bad to be true imo, i.e. if that was genuinely the best he can do now, I think they would have known about it beforehand and retired him unbeaten. So I'm prepared to accept that he's a lot better than he showed in the Guineas, but that still leaves him having to prove a) that he has trained on and b) that he will get 12f on softish ground. He's drawn 1 as well and that's not a plus. I hope he wins because I thought he was the real deal last season, but if forced to bet I'd be place laying.

More One Cool Cat than Auguste Rodin. The field looks poor though i cant see this helping the horse. Guineas form is stacking up every week since the race but the O'Brien excuses are all too familiar.
Best wait till Sat and decide, its an open race and conditions and betting may tell the tale.

Wouldn’t be the first time Aidan O’Brien wins with an outsider. Was highly touted and tried as a 2yo. The 4th at Longchamp was a solid run as well. Every chance.

Morning John, the yard has been difficult to catch right this season. Tbf White Birch is a smart horse and Auguste Rodin had every chance imo.
He's a dodge pot there are loads of horses that were top two year olds that didn't train on he seems to be one of them if that wins the derby I shall never bet on a classic again
