Well done Alex. It does truly make the home! Take very good care of your father and know when to tell him no. My dad worked construction and was always there for me. When he got older and I knew he was over doing things....My wife and I would take the kids on a day trip to slow what ever project we were doing. He would be angry because I wouldn't allow him to work alone. This would pass and we could resume his frantic pace. The son becomes the father, hehehehehe! Again, wonderful job and thank you for bringing us along.

Hi Alex. I watched a couple who had hired some men from the local village who were suppose to be professionals. This was individual tiles. Well one day they did not show up for work which it turned out to be a good thing as the husband had to take them all off and do it right like you had to. They had almost made it to the top. Thank goodness you and your dad were able to fix it. Hope your dad starts feeling better but i also have/had back problems and for me it never got better. At least he is still able to help you. Looking good.

It's amazing how a roof makes it suddenly look like a house instead of a ruin. I'm glad your dad was feeling well enough to help you. I'm also glad you discovered the mistake that the builders made before they did too much of it. At least they were able to help you get the beams up.
