    Bicycle is also useful for PAB riders in case their ebike broke down and need to send for repairs or they modding it

      That is a very good perspective 👏🏻. I never thought of that.

    Awesome recommendation!!! It is VERY IMPORTANT to maintain your bicycle, especially the gears and chain. Do clean your chain very often and use a good chain lubricant.

      Sadly i think most people neglect this part. The number of rusted bicycles at hdb void blocks is enough to make one despair.

      @@grabadventures rusty commuting bikes are okay. But I won’t want to use it for work. Unless you want to train to have beefy leg. Haha 😂

      Just spray WD40, i did that and my chain never break since the day i bought the bike. Spray WD40 on all part

    The helmet observation is a pretty good tip, a brim is really important for cycling in bad weather or even good weather.
    Keeps the rain from following the contours of your head and going into your eyes + very useful against bright lights as you can lower your head to block the light but still see the road.
    A cap is kind of mandatory when I go out on rides nowadays, especially with how bright some of the lights people mount on their rides, some even flicker, really blinding if they're riding towards you.
    I also highly recommend eye protection, getting dust (or lagi worse, a bug 😱) in your eyes is debilitating and it keeps your eyes from drying out from the wind. I've been wearing the Decathalon Rockrider(?) clear riding glasses and they've been extremely valuable, not bad for $3.90 and I bought another one to replace my scratched up one no regrets.
    Another good note for new riders is to start with secondhand gear that is functional, as you get experience you'll notice the bits that bother you as well as the accessories that you can pick up to mitigate it. Some of which aren't really obvious until you've been at it for some time, like the back of your neck getting sunburnt which can be remedied with a neck wrap or jacket. 😶‍🌫

      Very good observation. I usually have problems with secondary smoke especially if i am behind buses. Thx for the tip!

    How do you know bro if too much air is pumped? 😊😁

    • @grabadventures
      @grabadventures  Год назад +2

      It's all just pinch and feel for me bro. The psi is on the rim of the tyre. I only use that when i go to the gas station to pump. At home i just use a cheap pump. The end product is the same whether it comes from a high tech pump or an old manual pump: AIR!

    • @Youtiao86
      @Youtiao86 Год назад +1

      @@grabadventures not good at that haha because over and under pump both not good

    • @grabadventures
      @grabadventures  Год назад +2

      It comes with experience.

    • @Kurochana
      @Kurochana Год назад +2

      Really is experience, gotta weigh the benefits and figure out what works best for you.
      Underpump = soft tyre that sinks a bit, will be quite hard to cycle and feel pretty bad.
      Overpump = tyre won't last long + risk of failure via bursting.
      I generally keep my tyres on the higher psi range, the way I gauge is it by using a hand pump and getting a feel for how much pressure is in the tyre by how much resistance it takes to compress the pump. I find my "sweet spot" where the pump starts getting some medium resistance and try to maintain the standard.
      Having a properly pumped tire is a day and night difference in how easy it will be to cycle, the chain is important too (lubricate + don't let it get rusty) but the tyre is the one part that matters the most in terms of how tiring its gonna be. I recommend keeping a compact hand pump in the non food compartment of your bag, being able to keep your tyres in your ideal pressure level anywhere is a good way to build a habit that pays dividends (literally if you're working in delivery).

    • @grabadventures
      @grabadventures  Год назад +2

      Yep. It's not rocket science. Can learn as we pump frequently and there will come a time when rider can gauge by just the feel.

      Yes. You can still work without going for the course. However you won't be able to turn off Auto Accept and you won't be able to rank up the tier from emerald.

    That is a piece of over price bike. Just go to a neigborhood well know bike shop with reasonable price. Get one of those lowest good brand bike will do. maybe about the same price and would be better off than this stupid bike.
