How many videos have you watched telling you how to hit shots like a professional player?
If you are like most people, you know exactly what you are supposed to do. The problem is that you still can’t do it.
I used to be in that position too until I learnt how to address all of the underlying problems with my technique.
In this video I explain what I have found to be the 3 keys to developing high level technique.

IMO, the #1 key is feedback. Very few people have enough body awareness to feel what they are actually doing vs. what they think they are doing so feedback, either from a coach or from video is essential to progress toward the “correct” motions. Ideally a combination of both as one has to stop and check quite often when relying on video limiting the number of useful repetitions. A coach, who is also checking video, not just relying on visual cues can provide more real time feedback. I realize you’ve addressed improving body awareness in the video but even so feedback is required especially for older players with grooved “bad” habits who tend to fall back into old habits without timely feedback.
Feedback is extremely important. I didn't talk about it here because I've talked about it lots of other videos.
Video is the best for of feedback, because even if someone has an amazing coach, a lot of people still can't perceive what they are doing without seeing them selves.
A good coach can also really help. Unfortunately not all coaches are created equally and in my opinion the majority of the time coaches aren't providing good feedback.
Richard you go to the core of training good technique… excellent pointers thankyou 🎾🐬🎾

Fluid motion of the scapula reminds me of my time stationed at Scapula Flow
