- On Sunday’s ‘Sister Wives’ one-on-one reunion special, Kody Brown gives his take on what went wrong in his marriage to Christine Brown. The 52-year-old admits that the separation still has him grieving and angry. Christine and Kody announced their split on social media in November of 2021 after 25 years together. Christine joined the plural family in 1994, becoming Kody’s third wife. The exes share six children together.

@@laurenhahn890 I’ve watched this show for many years…almost from the start. She used to hold the place that Robyn does now.. Of course that was a few years ago She was his sexual love interest at that time. You could even tell. The shows person that did the reunion even tease him about it. He was so close to Christine and it showed. As she got older he then started favoring Robyn. I know it bothered Christine she said in one episode she didn’t want to be in a marriage without love like that. Really it was just the icing on the cake that made it impossible for her to stay!

I just found him to be self centered and abusive.Thats the view I certainly have about polygamy.Tire of one, bring in a new wife. Here’s the thing about Christine. She brought the joy.
She was at the center of all the happiness. She brought it with her and I’m guessing she took it with her when she left.
That’s not to say Janelle isn’t a joy but Christine exudes joy and togetherness.
When someone with that much light is neglected they cannot survive.
The shade brought by Robyn was making it hard for Christine to shine and Christine NEEDS to shine.
Not in a narcissistic way but in a life’s breath kind of way. It’s who she is.
Cody is beginning to show the cost to the public. He’s left with 2 negative wives and a wife who can clearly do without him just fine. Janelle is a powerhouse of a woman and solid as a rock.
It won’t be long before it’s just Cody and Robyn. It’s just the two of them intimately, we all know that but it won’t be long before Cody fully grasps the enormous mistake that was bringing Robyn into the family and if he is t already he will resent her.

You know you picked Robin over everyone from day one. I can’t be the only one who noticed how you treat Mary. You are not blinded to how you walked out of that marriage before it came to light. As it's been tossed about for years where we all saw his constant need to only be with Robyn caused strife w/ all the family. I'm sure this was a long time coming especially after he wasn't there when Truely was born and later becoming critically ill.
