I love these videos. So clear, so interesting. Can't wait to try using RENKO bars...I know you use trading view (as do I), but how do you add pins to the blocks if you're setting your blocks manually (what they call traditional). I have wick option ticked and am using .1 time frame, but I don't see any pins...only when I switch to the ATR version do they show. Let me know if you can.

Indeed good timing produces good results but I don't have to worry about proper time management or risk involved since I started investing with OctaFx Investment. I have been earning massively every week.

I am confused with the stoploss, does one box above the renko pin means a full box above pin or the top of the box which the pin has already partially covered?
But when you set 1h interval and 0.1 renko boxes size - like you do, there is one problem - at the end od hour there usually form more then one renko box, so you cant open your position on the next box after pin box... Mayby 1minute interval is the solution?

Everybody gets renko charts wrong. Every block of the chart is not (only) a movement of the price in a certain range. Everyone says it is different from bar charts or candle sticks but Renko charts rely heavily on candle sticks or bars. To make it clear:
FIRST YOU NEED TO SELECT THE TIMEFRAME THAT YOU WANT YOUR RENKO CHART TO RELY ON (DAILY, HOURLY, 5 MINUTES)
BASED ON THAT, THE RENKO CHART WILL THEN GET THE INFORMATION OF THE CLOSE OF EACH TIME (EACH DAY, EACH HOUR, EACH 5 MINUTES)
THEN THE RENKO CHART WILL PAINT A BOX WHEN THE BAR CLOSES ABOVE THE PREVIOUS RENKO CHART PRICE RANGE OR (IF IT'S GOING IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION) BELLOW 2 TIMES THE LOW OF THE PREVIOUS RENKO CHARTS.
So the chart is going to be different on each timeframe and some blocks will never be confirmed until the price closes on the selected timeframe

I prefer the ATR cause when I put the boxes in traditional/fixed the candles disappear after a while. 🤷♂️
Yeah, on TOS I don't have (or can find) an option for ATR on my boxes.

8:52 I would have entered a short position at the close of the bar that came immediately after the pinbar.
I tried renko bars but it gets on my nerves cause i cant get the right size box for crypto market, while i use standard atr 14 certain coins always go 4-5 bricks above the moving average(in one take) so im always late to the party. -.-

I can't tell you that...I don't know your style, your experience etc...YOU have to determine the box size yourself.

Start learning how to make scripts to use multiple indicators combined in one strategy. Backtest as much as you can... But really, if you learn to code you will have time to live in the future, and avoid emotional switches... ; )

Its available on mt4. You can download indicator at the market. Open offline chart using PeriodConverter for renko chart. Google it, its easy

RENKO sure looks great, but wait until there is a fast move, you just can't trade quick enough, probably why no one shows any live trades; or have you seen a video on that?
If you set a bigger box size and swing trade, the pace is greatly reduced.
Increase renko size
Better than Heikin Ashi?
I prefer HA candles
Unable to see Pin bars in Renko.
Increase the box size. You have to adjust that based on the asset you are charting.
My Renko charts don't show wicks (pins), so I guess I'm outta luck!

tradingview renko can only be used with a 1s timeframe, keep that in mind

You just don't understand what they are.
@@geoff6203 If you use a small block and a high time frame it will keep appearing as a ''ghost'' and will only ''register'' the renko when the time has passed

I will not use Renko, as i will not run with crutches. If everything else you taught is valid, who needs Renko.. ? think about that, i also won't pay my broker twice to get them. KSS, Renko is NOT simple ! Renko is a ugly mix where time disappears.
