I have recently got into The Aces in the last few weeks and this song in my opinion is their best song. I have heard of them before, but I didn’t listen to them properly until up to this point in my life, and this song relates to me so much with falling out with a friend over a lot of bitterness and always against each other with different things, so I cut that friend out and just stayed with the people who look after me properly, and that’s how I interpret this. But in the first chorus, the head bopping that they do in the video, never fails to make me smile, because it’s very well done, especially Katie and McKenna’s head bopping, they’re just incredible.
practically 3 months later and i’m here to say that transition 32 seconds in from katie to kenna is still the best thing i’ve ever seen. poetic cinema. deserves an emmy, golden globe AND an oscar
