It's always refreshing to see something go wrong on video, most people never show it. Top man for keeping it real. 🤟

Never had a problem in running a 3s lipo on my Outback, with a HW1080 even after 2 years, the driveshafts are fine. I still have the original motor too.

I just put a 1060 in my crawler with a 35 turn in place of the 21 and its smooth as butter.

Yes, it's a 35 turn motor combined with a Hobbywing 1080ESC, loads of torque now!

I installed the same Hobbywing in our SCX10 and smoked the servo. 😂

      Was it an old servo?

@@WheelsRC yes it was an old one, replaced it with a new servo and that has worked fine since.

i got my outback v1 in a swap i did on facebook and i've had to rewire the whole lot certain wires where just twisted together with no connectors, no soldering and no shrink wrap just a bit of electrical tape so i have stripped it down completely but not started the re-wire yet but i was going to do a full upgrade on the truck to make it more modern but i don't know if you can get upgrade parts for it i sent an email to ftx and they said that the outback parts are not interchangeable but people in fb groups and different forums have said that they are interchangeable so i'm very confused now and need some help do i just dump the chassis i have and buy new or can i get upgrade parts for it ??? please help

From what I understand there are no upgrade parts for it now. I would see if anyone has any parts going spare to keep it going
