How to Make Welding Machine
Welding is a fabrication process whereby two or more parts are fused together by means of heat, pressure or both forming a join as the parts cool. Welding is usually used on metals and thermoplastics but can also be used on wood. The completed welded joint may be referred to as a weldment.
Some materials require the use of specific processes and techniques. A number are considered 'unweldable,' a term not usually found in dictionaries but useful and descriptive in engineering.
The parts that are joined are known as a parent material. The material added to help form the join is called filler or consumable. The form of these materials may see them referred to as parent plate or pipe, filler wire, consumable electrode (for arc welding), etc.
Consumables are usually chosen to be similar in composition to the parent material, thus forming a homogenous weld, but there are occasions, such as when welding brittle cast irons, when a filler with a very different composition and, therefore, properties is used. These welds are called heterogeneous.
The completed welded joint may be referred to as a weldment.

How Does Welding Work?
Joining Metals
As opposed to brazing and soldering, which do not melt the base metal, welding is a high heat process which melts the base material. Typically with the addition of a filler material.
Heat at a high temperature causes a weld pool of molten material which cools to form the join, which can be stronger than the parent metal. Pressure can also be used to produce a weld, either alongside the heat or by itself.
It can also use a shielding gas to protect the melted and filler metals from becoming contaminated or oxidised.
Joining Plastics
Plastics welding also uses heat to join the materials (although not in the case of solvent welding) and is achieved in three stages.
Firstly, the surfaces are prepared before heat and pressure is applied and, finally, the materials are allowed to cool to create fusion. Joining methods for plastics can be separated into external or internal heating methods, depending on the exact process used.
Joining Wood
Wood welding uses heat generated from friction to join the materials. The materials to be joined are subjected to a great deal of pressure before a linear friction movement creates heat to bond the workpieces together.
This is a fast process which allows wood to be joined without adhesives or nails in a matter of seconds.

What amazes me is the work and craftsmanship. We take things for granted .these people have skills and recycle. I think it is awesome!
They need to work on inventing the "Workbench" next.
Truth. Though they'd lose that size 10 extra appendage.

Yeah , I do that too cuz my workbench is always cluttered!

Does the welding box come with a free defibrillator?
It is already a defibrillator!
@@Vincenzo_F
Also it is fibrillator too. )))
I mean, it basically already is one 😂. Depending on how many joules this bad boy can put out. Between 150 to 360 is preferred for adults. 360 joules is 36 volts which is 2.78 amps.
These guys would rebuild the world if SHTF

This must be where Canadian Tire sources their welders.
Very Nice congratulations 🇧🇷🇧🇷🤝
5:28 very good 👍
Результат очень отличается от картинки в рекламе ))) да и при демонстрации не видно, что варят от собранного аппарата. Может от инвертора варят.
Very good works
5:28 Ecellent! :)
I'm curious if they understnd the principle behind it. That will be the only good thing . It's a very crude transformer, high energy loss, low OCV, no cooling .A cheap chinese inverter has anti stick, hot start, burns low hydrogen electrodes.and you can adjust the curent. At 150 $ you get even adjustable arc force. A proper made transformer with a rectifier bridge, a fan and dark glass helmet is almost a bullet proof combination but compare to an inverter and an auto darkening helmet is like having a bow and arrow instead of a carbine. India and Pakistan both are having atomic bombs but normal technology for 21 century is not available for average people there.
these types of AC transformer welders will last the test of time, And they can even make a 1000 amp single phase machine with this method if the customer so desires, which is unheard of with transformer-based welders today.
unless it cost $10000+. for a base model used only in foundry welding, navy boat repairs, etc... etc..
As for the fans that is an easy fix, an adjustable current knob could be installed if you put the effort in, but the machine already has multiple bolt-on connectors for different ranges of amperages, simplistic but reliable . and adding a full bridge rectifier with capacitors to get DC is extremely easy and cheap to do.
These machines are awesome. i want one , but made from Stainless steel
Sure nope, no understanding at all. Grandpa did this, pa did this, and the blueprint was given by allah, praise his name. No need to understand, just repeat. ABDUL ARC WALDING! Buy our walders!
@@mp-uy9sv after you get one & if you survive after using it, then you can let us know how you like it. For all of these "so called" easy ways to rectify them, why don't they do it when they are made?
Truth be told, these are cheap made. Let us know when the dielectric paper allows the arc to hit the wood. Your welder will be a glowing inferno🤣🤣😄
150 dollars in Pakistan will buy you a good car.
@@daithi007 what do you consider a good car? Somehow i think what they consider a "good car" in Pakistan & what we consider a good car in the US are far different.

These poor guys are at least 130 years behind in electrical and transformer technology. Their country should allow some imports, otherwise these shops are stuck at a very low and inefficient level. Not to mention unsafe.
For sure better than a Miller welder machine!!!!! jejejejeje, I am kidding the world now is working with electronic IGBT welders.

sorry as skilled as they are thoise Custom Welding Plant's scare the shit out of me live electronics going Throuygh a steel case with only flat insulators stopping the bolts from sliding to touch the outsiode case... erm no thanks. the insulators should go Through the steel case.
It's just the outputs, about 50volts maybe, just a tingle.
Yes, no Top Hat Insulators.
Yea, I saw that too. I would only assume input power is the same same through the case, scary. But I guess when you need and don’t have a welder it does work. I’m sure this doesn’t meet UL standards on many levels.
Not that it matters, but after reading your comment, I went back and watched the video, again.
It looks like to me, that they insulate the secondary taps thru the cabinet with washers centered on the assembly bolts ?
But to be honest, the whole operation looks shakey !
Too I have to remember : "Poor people have poor ways" !

They tight them up really tight.
Flat insulators - flexible, they bend and make it difficult to move the bolts, i hope. ))))

11:25 the washer is not on the correct side of the wire, washers go against the the head or the nut, its useless where its been put.
amateur.
BonSang
It’s a contact washer that improves contact with the wire. You don’t understand anything.
@@iridios6127 yeah right, if they insist to have awasher under the wire there is still need one between the wire and the bolt.
are you implying thet this washer is superconductive and that it will reduce resistance ?
i dont think it will have that effect. that person just does not have mecanic skills, like all the goddam electricians of that planet.
@@bonsang1073
The washer will prevent the wire from being pushed into the wood, and loosening the attachment, and prevent an increase in contact resistance, due to the loosening.
@@iridios6127 that does not seem to be wood, not sure if it is a boss bar or an insulator.
and still needs a washer up top. under the pressure the copper will be pushed out.
@@bonsang1073
It is necessary to press very hard to squeeze copper out of aluminum wire. )))
The insulator is not made from wood (I confused with another video), but is still softer than the steel washer.
