3 years ago they released clean. Now they have toured with BMTH, Sleeping With Sirens, ADTR, Loathe, Spiritbox and now they have a vid here in hate5six. This guys are living the dream and I am so proud of how far this lads have gone! Cant wait to see how they evolve in whatever they do next, Rouge Carpet Disaster was my favorite album last year.
@@phatrhymes_4019 Oh yeah I know that, its only 3 years and they got so far... I am strapped in the SD Train, wherever they go, whatever they do, I will support them.
was able to meet Olli during this tour and basically told him this. What a journey its been seeing them from just putting out a couple songs on the internet to all over the world
@18:10 most impressive stage dive!!! still pushing those vocal frys while upside down and barely caught. 10/10 live performance, 10/10 video, 10/10 sound mix. Fucking beautiful!

just like sysc I like their ability to be so versatile, there are so many influences... from mainstream genres and bands to underground genres and bands, it's like they took the best from many sources and put together. they deserve the best.
if any of you have never heard of these guys before this video, listen to rouge carpet disaster right now. they are this generation's answer to any emo band you've ever grown up listening to and then some, and rcd is one of the greatest and most versatile albums of the last 15 years; they deserve everything theyve gotten and even more, and i hope to god they can get mcr big soon.
They did say the last 15 years to be fair, I would say the most impressive thing about SD is how well they fit into the fold of that era in post hardcore. Some say it’s rehashing and nostalgia baiting, but they genuinely improved on the formula that was conceived almost two decades ago, and a big part of that is the image. They also write conceptual songs around a story and their first EP is a comic book soundtrack.
I just found them 2 days ago by accident when I was listening to Superheaven & clean popped on it reminded from when 10 or 11 post emo or post like hardcore. So in general I love this band wanna see live so bad.
I saw them a few days before this show in Richmond and it was AMAZING. They were the main reason I went to the show and I can’t wait to see them again. Amazing video as always, Sunny! 😩🖤
Jesus their engineering is super tight. Don't think I've seen any live footage of these guys without it sounding fantastic. They don't get a lot of love but firm handshake to the live engineers and sound techs these guys use.
Never heard a live recording so perfectly in congruence with the actual studio recording. From band chemistry to song writing, these folks will go down in phc history as one of the GOATS.
Some fuckin straight up throwback to ferret and eulogy days this shit fuckin kill's love it love it love it! Brings me me right back to 04 me when nothing matters and no worry's just being with my friends going to tins of shows and meeting all kinds of beautiful band's 🥺🥺🥺😍😍😍💕💕
Love the Deftones influence, especially in a song such as push rope. What a killer debut album. As far as I'm concerned these guys and Dreamwell are leading the pack as far as new heavy music goes.
their studio stuff doesn't sound like knocked loose but I can see how you might get that impression from their live stuff definteiyl underoath tho, as well as finch and deftones
when ''clean'' was released & i heard it i knew this band was going places instantly. everything was just in order & their work effort is impeccable. couldn't be more happier for them now that they have all the backing of RoadRunner. Olli has said they've been getting offers from record deals from the very beginning when that single done so well & they always said no because it would allow the label creative control. my mind is now in a place thinking that since roadrunner have lost slipknot they need something that's going to bring in the teens, a band that people can grow up with & this is is. Well deserved too from the shit they can pull off DIY think what they could do with the backing of a budget like Roadrunner!! proud of you lads! also thanks Olli for letting me get a shot of the mic on your very first tour, worked like a charm during the set! 🖤
I’m pretty sure C0ntrast has always been the same. Like, Oli, Sam, and C0ntrast are the core i’d say. By far one of the cleanest guitarists’ to come onto the scene
Sam (drummer) and contrast (guitarist) joined in early 2021. They're on the "prologue" and "rogue carpet disaster" releases. The OG drummer and guitarist are on all the singles released prior to "sweet" in june 2021. The OG bassist was in the band up until a couple months ago. The touring bassist (george) is now an official member. Static is Olli's vision so it all sounds connected even with the member changes.
@@doomeduser9326 yeah, but without the obvious changes it seemingly has been the same guitarist. I never stated it was the previous guitarist, Tom Black. I also didn’t specify the OG was replaced by this unknown being lol. So my bad
Lots of bands do this, but tbh I cant fault them. Less $ to split amongst members is probably the reality of the situation. Set is 1000% to a click/abelton session. Doesnt take away from the fact that everyone in this band is firing on all cylinders and brings it live

more than any other band, they channel TOCS-era underoath more than any other

From the aesthetics, to the music, to the look. They got it all
If this band existed in 2005, they’d be headlining Warped tour. It’s like Thursday, Senses Fail, TBS, and Funeral For a Friend’s long lost love child.

Easily the most promising band in the hardcore / post-hardcore scene right now, love these lads and am so stoked to see them on Hate5Six
They deserve more hype. I love the sound aesthetics of the '00s with a new spirit. It's like Turnstile found their emo roots.
Saw these guys in Brooklyn with Loathe. Absolutely unforgettable set, one of my favorites in recent memory.
This tour lineup was fucking insane.
By far one of the most incredible shows I had been to in a long time. It was beautiful.
Thank you for recording this full set ❤️ I was here and it was the best concert I’ve ever been too. It’s so special to me to get to relive it this way
You always cover the true prospects of this genre, thank you for giving so many bands this kind of attention. Sick content!!
so proud of these guys!!! was so hyped to see how different the crowd was in the US vs the UK. So interesting.
the crow is liek this in the uk it just depends on the show, whether they play a hardcore environment or with more a more emo audience
Just finding out about this band and they are like a blast from the past. They sound like 2008 Our Last Night mixed with Thursday and I love it

As in the mixture vibes of underoath, emery and dead poetic based on the musical style
Saw these guys in the O2 in January 24, absolutely amazing live.
