Quick follow up- I was able to fit the side support bar after separating the GPU power cable a bit. Also if you can’t find the SE-904-XT, Thermalright has an SS110 and Noctua has their D9L, both of which are 110mm tall.
Tip: If you have a flow-through type of GPU cooler in this case, use it in the flipped orientation and add a 90mm or 120 fan underneath the flow-through area (zip tie or friction mount the fan like right on the GPU exhaust). The fan makes a HUGE difference (I cannot stress this enough).
very detailed assembly guide thank you; in future when i will move to this case from meshlicious this will come handy for sure. love your videos keep up. 🙌🙌
Running the 7700x in Eco mode (or just a 7700 non-X) looks like a great option. Too bad the case isn't made for a 3-slot GPU - there'd be so many more options.
i dont understand. this reference case is not orderable on formD`s website, so it is "end of life" product? is this better than the sandwitch edition v2.0?
Very nice case! Something general is there any real concern of using an AIO up to 150 dollar/euro range over an upper range air cooler. It seems AIO is recommended for the latest cpus like 13600k etslc or 7900x
Great video but can't understand why manufacturers are making cases with only 2slot GPU compatibility... With current cards mostly being massive it really limits them...
Nice looking case although this might be the very definition of taking minimalism too far. Especially around the GPU. Even a 2 slot GPU is a tight fit. No case feet to speak of so the case is close to the floor which probably results in GPU suffocation. Looking forward to the performance testing video though, I hope to be proven wrong and see this case work out great :)
Could put the bracket behind the GPU cables - doesn't seem to change anything as the side panel still closes ok .... just saying ... "interesting" cooling choice .... can you consider NH-U9S push - pull for testing ? (7700X may be too much for either though) .
It doesn't fit with the brace behind (it pushes the cables out and the panel has to sit against the brace. I will try with a right angle adapter. As for the U9S I would have but I measured the clearance right at 115mm... and the U9S is 125mm.
@@MachinesMore what right angle adapter would you recommend? I'm planning my first ever PC build with the exact same GPU and a 12400f on a Meshlicious (with an ATX PSU to save some money) but the t1v2 is too cute and a bit less expensive than the sandwich version. If I move things around, my budget might not suffer too much. btw great work, you videos are very informative.

I love the variation this case provides

what do you mean by "flipped orientation"? I'm interested because I just purchased this case.
The more SFF case reviews I watch, the more I realise how well designed the Fractal Terra is.
A clean build in a clean case, excited to see the next videos
Just what I needed today, a new video from the sff guru himself!
The best GPU to pair with the T1V2 Ref is the 3080ti FE. Definitely rotate the case so it gets air from the top though.

this is my dream case! what a clean setup!
Really looking forward to seeing the thermal results! Have you had a chance to try the Thermalright SI-100? It looks very interesting
This case is a good successor to the legendary Ncase M1 (Classic).
But there is an M1EVO coming, which will also have the slanted front panel design.
Sorry if I missed it. Are the side panels the CNC'd ones or Stamped?
That fan/ aio mount has to be purchased separately right?

Optimum tech has managed to add 4090 in the sandwich version.
isn't that the new phanteks sfx psu? Your link points towards an sf750, it looks really sweet
This case be lookin' sexy af.
i dont understand.

Two slots ain’t gonna cut it anno 2023…. Besides that, this case looks nice!

21:41 It looks bad with graphics card stuck down there. Is there a option to build this upside down so GPU is on top? 🤔
Yes. Just swap the bottom and top panel and turn the case upside down.
Any recommendations on a compact high airflow Atx case (looking for nr200 style for full atx.
Would an EVGA 3070 XC3 fit in here?
The reference was designed to fit the c14s why is that not remotely even mentioned?!
It was around the 3 min mark
what ssd did you choose for that build

Forget rdna 3, do a 7900 non x + 4090 build in a nr200p man
