+theLV2 Unfortunately, talking over the ambience does take away a little of the atmosphere. This game is best played by yourself, in a dark room and no outside sounds as well as some excellent headphones or speakers. You can really immerse yourself in it then. :)
In one of my plays of this, every means I had of detecting and dealing with threats had broken down (motion, turret, shield and more). All I had was a Probe. for a while we relied on it, it's really useful because it finds minerals like a shipscan, and if it goes into a room and is obliterated, hey there's a guy in there! Then I upgraded it to have stealth. This is what sucks: Probes detect everything EXCEPT enemies. And if the probe is invisible nobody shoots it. Don't throw the probe away. But if you're forced to rely on it instead of Motion, don't upgrade it.
Depends on what you want it for, if you want it for determining wether to risk sending a drone then go stealth to conserve drones but for detecting enemy presence, don't!
I got this game cuz I fell for the style and mechanics, but didn't know when I got it that it is one of the scariest games I have ever (accidentally) experienced. I now affectionately call it "Typing Tutor from Hell," and to be fair I got VERY good at typing "close all" VERY quickly. I'm a WIMP when it comes to horror/tense atmosphere, so thank you for playing this game so calmly and competently XD
Starting to watch all your Duskers episodes, loved the first one, fascinating and underrated game! Bought it a long time ago. Thank you very much for great entertainment!
Here's what I wonder. Are the Duskers the aliens? Or us, the survivors, too spread out to ever find each other, fumbling around in the dark at the dusk of mankind?
:) youre really communcative with your fanbase or do you not like to call us fanbase but rather viewers? nand one more question are you streaming on twitch or youtube sometimes if yes send link thanks :)
kral kralovsky I don't mind either way. Viewers, subscribers, friends, everything works! And I used to stream on both Twitch and RUclips but have taken a long break from it. I have plans to start streaming again but haven't done so yet.

as a fan of totally avoiding all possible threats, I also enjoy the Forced Airlock Exit strategy, with the caveat that it will also erase any potential scrap or loot in that room and also possibly damage the ship, which is usually not ideal. ...Also, I'm not sure but there *might* be some types of enemies/anomalies/infestations/horrors that are *somehow immune* to the Forced Airlock Exit strategy. Probably not in the "tutorial area," and possibly not at all, but not *entirely* off the table (or the spaceship) :P
WOW!! Was that Richard Ridings? The man who did the voice in Dungeon keeper? WOW It is so awesome You got that and kind of him to make it! AWESOME!... Thank you for playing this !That sure is a Fat Fap :)
Спасибо за прохождение, а то у нас никто не проходил эту игру. С переводом нейросети, теперь и зарубежных стримеров можно посмотреть. Лайк прожал, обнял, приподнял. Шутка, но не про лайк.
"We can safely go in there. Probably."
~ MetalCanyon 2016
+Jeseung Lee I feel like that will be a common phrase throughout this series, and probably will lead to the deaths of a few bots like me :)
*last words of MetalCanyon 2016^^
That is basically the whole game.
The visuals and sound design of this game are awesome. Also a very original concept. Can't wait to see more.

Hahah, I love it! And I agree, it's a very tense, scary game. :) I'm by no means competent at it, either. Pretty bad, I'd say, actually.

and i thought my survival protocols were good....hot damn dude...you cleared that ship in a matter of minutes! usually takes me half an hour per ship.
I do take some unnecessary risks sometimes. Which don't always pay off... :)
