Italy has to be the most beautiful country on the planet. I am truly impressed by how every town I see, from the smallest and most unknown to the most popular, is amazingly beautiful. I am very curious about how the locals manage to afford their daily lives, when we know that tourism, despite being a great source of income for the town and the country as such, ends up being a double-edged sword, as it inflates the prices of rent and basic housing products. In videos of this style, one always sees the striking beauty of the location, but I am curious about the daily life of the common people who live there. Excellent video, as always.

The bike ride was wonderful, but this tour was stunning. I actually paused a couple of times just having a long good look and telling my wife - that's where we should move eventually. Or, at least go for a holiday. :)
I watch a lot of your videos on an excellent 4k monitor. The sense of immersion while you walk through the environment is wonderful. In recent videos (e.g. around Lake Como) I have noticed more and more that you stop your walk and do 180 degree pans. Panning destroys the sense of immersion because panning generates a very high bit-rate that is necessarily very compressed and so panned views are blurred. Gentle pans - + or - 30 degrees seem to be fine. I can live with them 🙂
Hey Colin, I really appreciate the feedback. I didn't realize that. I'll definitely keep that in mine next time I film. I just sometimes forget to turn around when I'm filming to let the viewer know how things look in the opposite direction. Thanks again! Hope you enjoyed the walk otherwise.
Yeah, that Venice video...oi..I've pieced it together and it is 7 hours long. Not sure what I want to do about that...and I have two evening walks and two canal tours as well. I need to get to work! :)
