So true. If folks are farmers or still working, have transportation concerns 'cause of the weather impacts and/or have a long commute well then, yes the weather is a concern. But if retired and the home is safe, sound and all ... why give a hoot about the weather? I just roll over, pull up warm soft covers in my comfy bed with my missus and drift off to sleep with a smug smile on my face. Lord knows in my working life snow, road ice, hard winds and rain deluges were very much a concern what with swing and graveyard shifts. Boiling hot and shivering cold were real concerns. But not now. Go to bed way before the TV sermonette, flag waving and National Anthem time.
