Ok..I baked the cake last night and am up early to put on the icing..the cake smells wonderful and the icing is amazingly good. I topped it with dried blood orange 🍊 slices my Spade club members are gonna love it..thanks ❤️

Hello Mrs. Teresa and Mr. Eric. I’m a new subscriber and I just ran up on you alls channel today. You’re making some beautify moist cakes. Have you ever made a three layer German chocolate cake? It’s one of my favorite cakes. I would love to watch you bake one. They’re delicious! I would say Mr. Eric would love it, but it has lots of coconut in it; which I know he doesn’t like. I’ve always used cake flour, but I’d like to try using White Lily all purpose flour; but I’m afraid they’ll be heavy and dense. How do you make your cakes so moist and tender using White Lily? How many times do you sift your flour? My mother’s friend makes pound cakes all the time; well she makes just plain pound cakes no flavor other than vanilla; I guess. I use the stand mixer for cakes that require along process like a pound care. Two layers take no time, the hand mixer does the job. That’s just me either one can do the job.

When you’re baking I notice that you alternate from your hand mixer and stand mixer. How do you determine which one to use?
I use the stand mixer for cakes that require along process like a pound care. Two layers take no time, the hand mixer does the job. That’s just me either one can do the job.
