The main reason I didn’t want a cake is because it needs to be gluten free… the cheesecake idea is GOLD. My mom and I are planning to bake our cake and a cheesecake can easily be made gluten free with GF graham crackers. Plus cheesecake holds well in the fridge for the days prior.
We had fruit platters (with few exotic fruits) and sophisticated tarts this summer. It was so hot, everybody loved it ! We had some smoke for pictures Love from France 🇨🇵❤
Love the piñata idea! We are going to do a champagne tower instead of a cake cut neither of us are cake-y people. Then we’ll just have a dessert and cheese grazing table station people can nibble on
My fiancée and I are getting married next year. It’s second time around for both of us and whilst we want to follow some of the traditions we are also playing around with things to make it more ‘us’. Our cake is going to be a to scale motorcycle helmet with a pair of motorcycle gloves and key alongside it (all made of cake!). Next to it we are having a hand written note which says ‘F*%k this s*%t, I’d rather go out on my bike’! We both love motorbikes so thought it was a humorous way to inject our personalities into the day. Our cake maker is so talented and has already made a helmet cake for my fiancée’s 50th birthday. It was so realistic and she is well up for the idea. There will be no children and we have considered our guests in terms of whether they would be offended by the language! As you always say, you do you ☺️ x
Just found your page, love your videos! Do you mind doing Christian ideas/Christian aesthetics you’ve seen in weddings. Like for example I’ve seen couples washing each others feet to represent serving each other as Jesus did. I will be getting married next year & would love to see ideas! Thank you 🫶🏼
I've asked my dad to do a traditional fruit cake for a small layer as I like the tradition but literally every single other person has asked me why haha! Even my dad 😂
I would love a video about the meaning behind wedding traditions!
We are thinking of having a small cake to cut (made by my awesome mum) and then just loads of brownies for our guests 😍 fab video as always! X
