Magistrala E30 to jedna z kluczowych europejskich tras kolejowych, będąca częścią międzynarodowego korytarza transportowego, łączącego Niemcy z Ukrainą przez Polskę. Stanowi element Transeuropejskiej Sieci Transportowej (TEN-T), a także sieci kolejowej AGC (umowa o głównych międzynarodowych liniach kolejowych). Trasa E30 w Polsce biegnie m.in. przez Dolny Śląsk, Opolszczyznę, Górny Śląsk i Małopolskę, co czyni ją istotną zarówno dla ruchu pasażerskiego, jak i towarowego.
E30 obsługuje transport towarów na dużą skalę, zwłaszcza kontenerowy i masowy (np. węgiel, stal, surowce mineralne). Magistrala łączy polskie porty (np. Gdynia, Gdańsk) z Europą Środkową i Zachodnią, a także z kierunkiem wschodnim, np. Ukrainą i Rosją.
Zmodernizowane odcinki magistrali E30 pozwalają pociągom towarowym na poruszanie się z prędkością do 120 km/h (np. odcinek Krzeszowice - Trzebinia, gdzie nagrywany był powyższy materiał)

The E30 rail line is one of the key European railway routes, forming part of an international transport corridor connecting Germany with Ukraine via Poland. It is an element of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) and the AGC railway network (the European Agreement on Main International Railway Lines). In Poland, the E30 route runs through regions such as Lower Silesia, Opole, Upper Silesia, and Lesser Poland, making it important for both passenger and freight traffic.
The E30 supports large-scale freight transport, especially container and bulk cargo (e.g., coal, steel, mineral resources). The line connects Polish ports (e.g., Gdynia, Gdańsk) with Central and Western Europe, as well as with eastern destinations like Ukraine and Russia.
Modernized sections of the E30 line allow freight trains to travel at speeds of up to 120 km/h (for example, the Krzeszowice - Trzebinia section, where the above footage was recorded).
