Sex and Gender mean the exact same thing. English derives from two different languages Anglo Saxon and French (or so I heard at least), meaning we have to different words many of the same thing. Royal and Noble, Height and Altitude. Those are some examples, they mean the same thing. Same goes with "gender" and "sex", in fact gender shares the same root word the Latin word for "genitals", which I find ironic. The left took over the word "gender" and made the definition what they wanted. If a leftist says "gender is not associated with sex", they mean; "I believe gender is not associated with sex, and therefore you must also or you're a transphobe".
@pdpx To be fair they are not redefining everything, just the stuff that allows the other side to prove them wrong. @Kyo-Kun English derives from a lot of languages, also Royal and Noble do not mean the same thing, otherwise, I completely agree, I go into a bit more depth on both points below. English evolved from the language of the anglos, the Saxons, the Vikings, the Celts, Germanic tribes, the French, Latin, Spanish, and a bunch of other languages, it has also evolved over time, yes we did "borrow" more than a few words from the French (and the Gaelic before they became French), but they were only one of probably dozens of doner languages. Basically, as waves of migration come to England, or when we were invaded by the anglos, the Saxons, the Romans, the Vikings and the Normans, each invasion or wave of settlers brought a new language to this land, and when we invaded other countries (especially France, at one time one of the British King/Queen's titles was King/Queen of France), and later when nations joined the Empire/Commonwealth, we would decide we liked words they used, so start using them in England, so they became part of the English language, this has even happened with words invented in the USA, for example, some English language purists were horrified when the American word "Talented" started being used in England about a century and a half ago. Royal means a member of the Royal family, Noble (when referring to the nobility, it does have a few other uses including a noble deed, doing something because it is the right thing to do) means someone of the upper class so yes a royal is a noble, but the vast majority of nobles are not royals. Nobels are members of the aristocracy, there are thousands British of nobles, dozens of Royals, and only the current monarch, his/her spouse, and someone who was born to someone directly in line to the throne can use the title His/Her Royal Highness, current HRHs are the Queen, her children, heir to the throne Charles's wife Camilla, his son William (Harry and his wife Meghan gave up the HRH title when they withdrew from his Royal family duties, and even if they had not their children would not have been HRHs unless William and his children had all died), William's wife Kate and their children.

@pdpx
To be fair they are not redefining everything, just the stuff that allows the other side to prove them wrong.
@Kyo-Kun
English derives from a lot of languages, also Royal and Noble do not mean the same thing, otherwise, I completely agree, I go into a bit more depth on both points below.

@@johnfoor8381 It's not even what you say that they object to, it is any fleeting expression that might pass across your face which they attribute to an emotion that they don't like. These people need to lock themselves into their own "safe space" and leave the rest of us alone.
She has no intentions of having a conversation with you her only intent which is clearly obvious is to attempt to chastise you for your beliefs and point you out as a bigot and they do this because they know did their logic falls apart in deep held conversations so she'd rather just try to persecute your character in an intent to paint all your statements as that made from someone of low character and low core moral values
Yup... she asks him for answers and when he gives them, she criticizes the answers while offering none of her own. It's telling someone "You're wrong, but I'm not going to tell you why you're wrong... I'm just going to insult you instead". Just the absolute WORST kind of person on the planet. It's the left's own peculiar brand of condescending narcissism from a place of ignorance.
@@Mr.Ekshin 💯% that's because none of their beliefs can stand on their own validity they already know this therefore they want to attack our character instead of attacking the actual belief and attempting to prove it wrong they'd rather just paint the people that have that belief as horrible human being therefore we don't have to listen to their beliefs because they're based in hate which is the exact opposite of reality because the truth is the Democratic party are the ones that push an Insight emotionally fueled belief
You're right. Unfortunately, some people want to be angry, offended or to feel victimized. It makes them feel temporarily stronger, and has become trendy. Finding subjective definitions just traps people in that negative state. Maybe no one ever taught her that all Humans have value, and she doesn't have to try to bring others down to elevate herself.
Leftist: "YOu are oNe DimeNsIoNAL!"
Shapiro: *spits out 4d answers*
By "two different definitions" she means there is *THE* definition that Ben is stating Vs what she *FEELS* the words mean to her.
This is what is wrong with most people today! Just because you feel a word means something else doesn't mean it ACTUALLY means something else lol I mean if any Man tried to say they thought the definition of Rape was roleplay between two consenting adults and therefore Rape wasn't an issue people would loose their minds!
"I disagree" is not a counter point...
He’s so much smarter than the audience members. How many times does he have to humiliate these characters? Yet they continue to line up for it. Sad.
Doing the same thing expecting different results
Scary part is she left that room thinking she won a debate
“I’m going to ask you to define words then tell you you’re wrong but not explain how so that I make myself feel intellectually superior.”
She just wants to be a victim and doesn’t have the intelligence to actually have the conversation! Interesting lol
She’s braver than you! 🤣🤣🤣
@@shavanaealexandervlogs2603 troll much?
The Dunning Kruger effect allowed her the confidence to get up there and speak and try to make sense and create influence...
Your right that is brave to stand up and when you can’t even have a conversation with him about it because you don’t have the intelligence to do it. So your right she’s much more brave then myself😘😘lol
She’s young, she’s learning. Good on Ben to engage with young folk and give them a fair hearing and a serious answer for them to work through later.
Her argument sounded so good when she was in the "echo-chamber" with her constituents. My how it all went down in real time on the playing field.
Ha, he throws out some basic logic and she starts sputtering..
She is in way over her head here.
Not in her mind.
“How about this one:
Define passive-aggressive, Ben”
Ben: “Um…that would be YOU”
🤣🤣🤣🤣 microphone drop👏👏🤣🤣
Ooooohhhhhh!!!!!!!
Does he say "um"? I haven't heard that. Usually inarticulate people do that.
@@hijodelaisla275
You mean like Obama?…the king of “um”.
@@teamdawson1 What a wonderful opportunity for you. You're welcome.
The real problems come from a small group of people.
She goes to a debate and doesn't want to debate.
"Everything you just said: 1 dimensional."
"In what way?"
"Errr..."
"Exactly."
"We'll move on."
I'd have stopped her right there. You offer yours up, since you asked me for mine.
Imagine trying to make a case for trigger warnings and micro aggressions.
After Ben gives the definition, she THEN determines if it’s or “correct” according to HER thinking 🤔.
I disagree with how she went about this, but not that particular part. She's right in figuring out what his definitions are, because it should help her figure out why he has some of the stances that he does.
Unfortunately, she's not experienced enough with these types of conversations with people like Shapiro. It's a little silly to see these types of videos because it's always an experienced right-wing debater vs. a random college student. Shapiro typically sounds way dumber when he's against someone who understands the arguments the student wants to make.
@@Goomsies Oh really? Where can I see some examples of Ben sounding “way dumber” as you say? And why didn’t she dare not give her definitions to “help her figure out why he has some of the stances that he does”?
@@Goomsies ok smart guy… lmao. Some people on internet always think they are fking Einstein. Flipping burger in real life…
@@David-kk4dr Trust me, it's not super difficult to find clips of Shapiro getting completely steamrolled by people who aren't unprepared college kids waiting in line to ask one question. You can look up some of his most embarrassing moments if you want, like his "you think they won't sell their homes" remark on rising ocean levels or his argument with (I think) David pakman about how people should have guns to fight back against the government. I'm sure that sounds reasonable at first, but anyone who's talked about it for a couple minutes understands that it's not.
There are tons of videos out there pointing out how disingenuous he is in many of his speeches and debates, as well as how much information he seems to make up on the spot. Shapiro speaks confidently, so it's not immediately obvious when he says something really silly. It's easy to see why so many people have a hard time seeing through it.
@@Goomsies can you show me ONE?
He shuts them up and they clearly are aware of their stupidity but they continue. I love this young man he will be instrumental in bringing this country back to its original characteristics. There's your subjective microaggression LOL
When you think that only disagreeing qualifies as thinking.
If Ben is one dimensional then, necessarily, she is zero dimensional
She is negative dimensional
Her: "Define X."
Ben defines X.
Her: "WRONG. Define Y."
I find it offensive you only mentioned X and Y there are hundreds of letters. 😣
@@johnharrington11 Define H
She doesn't want to engage, she simply wants to say that Ben is wrong and disagree with him for the sake of it
