Marriage is over rated... I will do everything for the woman I love except legally marry her, maybe a symbolic gathering to let everyone know we are together. I will not have government or religion set rules and regulations for my future family. Most women will never settle without marriage, It takes a free spirit that loves you and trust you to understand it's for the better.
I dont see it so much as the government or religion setting rules but I do agree with the aspect of being in a committed relationship and doing everything for the one you love.
