I believe most of these opinions derive from social media garbage and everyone wants their 5 min of fame. Most of these people Saying gen x is the best are making themselves look like clowns. Yes many things that happened during our years made us for what we are and yes we didn't have the same tech and other issues were dealing with today. But much of what we went through paved the way for the next gen. We all have issues of our own gen that we find was harder and I'm sure other gens. could learn from it. I'm friends with plenty of gen z and millennials and I'm gen x and we all have our separate problems. As far as tech goes; its not a problem and its not that we don't know, how to use or understand it works it's that we aren't interested or don't care. We didn't have the same apps or tech growing up and that's probably why. Many of the things you spoke of like staying outside till lights came on did happen or at least with most of the people I grew up with. Since there's so many that say it don't you believe it could be possible. Don't you want people to believe you if your an influencer or should we just dismiss it. As far as tech goes its not we don't know or understand how it works its we aren't interested or don't care. But you have a voice and its being heard and that's awesome. N one should point fingers about the mess the world is in. I do believe too many are out of control and use their emotions as an excuse or a crutch. This contributes to the destruction of conversation and free speech. All sides matter not just one and not just our own. Allowing this to happen is part of the issue. Shutting out others because it may hurt our feelings is ridiculous. Sometimes experiences cause us to grow and harden us so the tougher things in life were able to weather. We all play a part and are responsible no matter the gen we came from or what's happening around us. I believe it to be many have stayed silent and they want to matter. Just like you, we want to be heard. So why the division? Theirs enough division in the world today we don't need nonsense like this 🤣.

It's all generations not just them. Just watch RUclips. You will quickly find out stupid comes in all shapes sizes,ages,genders. I guarantee you that there are tons gen whatever videos complaining about other generations. It kinda reminds me of politics or the whole straight/LGBTQ thing. I think John Wayne said it best "Life is hard but it's even harder when you are stupid". Everyone needs to get off of the Internet and stop making content and go outside and take a big gulp of fresh air. Or get some help. I was born in 1974, and all these videos about the Gen-X rising are embarrassing. As someone pointed out, we are the people who raised your generation, so what are we complaining about? Every generation has something to learn from the others, and generations have always been in conflict with each other: my parents were always complaining about me being lazy and spoilt and so on. I personally know some really great Gen-Z and some of the most enriching people I know are millennials, I am learning so much from younger people and you are doing great things in so many ways (I am thinking about Greta Thunberg, here in Europe, just to name one).
So do not care too much about all this. Greetings from Italy!
