- 'C Is the Heavenly Option' appears on Heavenly's 1992 'Le Jardin de Heavenly' album.
To celebrate the album's vinyl reissue in May 2023, we thought the song finally deserved a video. With limited original footage to work with, we were helped out by a variety of friends (and some family) of the band.
These include original singer on the track, Calvin Johnson, as well as members of some of our favourite indie bands/artists/radio stations/labels: Allo Darlin/Elva, Bis, BMX Bandits, Bratmobile, Comet Gain, The Crystal Furs, Darren Hayman, Even As We Speak, Jetstream Pony, Just Joans, The Magnetic Fields, The Natvral, Panic Pocket, Rose Melberg, Small Animals Records, The Umbrellas, WFMU, Yo La Tengo.
We love the result, and would like to thank everyone involved! (There is a cast list at the end.)

Oh and also the guitarist Matt Ferrara (cat keyboard) and bassist Nick Oka (fish thing in his hands) of The Umbrellas. It’s hard because I’ve only seen them live when they wear their hair over their faces, like proper pop stars.
