If the vehicle is smart enough to know when it needs an oil change, it should be smart enough to know when it got an oil change. These indicators should be removed from vehicles since they don't know that it was taken care of already. You should never have to reset any indicator. The owners manual does not tell you how to reset them, so why have them?

For those confused you hit the start button twice without hitting the brake. NOT acc but run. Then hit the accelerator (gas pedal x3) within 10 seconds.
I had to put mine on *RUN WITHOUT TURNING IT ON* then hit gas 3x, back to off then turn on vehicle fully. Then it was cleared. I have a 2013 dodge journey R/T

I tried it every way n it still don't work on my 2015 just saying. I've attempted it about 20 times now. Press the pedal different speeds, tried to go to straight turn on, to I turn it off an then turn it on. Still hasn't turned the message off yet
I got it to go off the way you said and it did go to 0 messages, but then it added the message back on again. Yes I done this several times as you had said to do it but it still came back to adding the message back on again. What can I do to keep it off permanently 🤔?
I just watched another video. While vehicle is off, push the ignition button to “run”. Pump gas peddle to the floor 3 times. Then start like normal. It worked the first time for my 2015 journey

Yup. He needed to push the button once more to the "run" setting, then pump the accelerator.

Hi, kindly why this message comes (oil change due), is result from distance count or due to oil degrades?
You need to turn the car to on/run, not acc! Everything else is same and you'll clear code!
What if it comes back on immediately?

Tried 5 or 6 times. It didn't work. Had to push the start button to run then push peddle 3 times then put your foot on the brake and start the car.
And how do you turn off the service tire pressure system?
Drive it for a few minutes after getting tire pressure to were it needs to be on low tires and it will reset itself

Having the same issues. It turned to 0 messages for few seconds then the message was back on.
