As a fellow Arts and Crafts vendor, I would suggest to get a card rack that can be turned. As well as a earring rack, (the one with prongs) that can be turned because your wonderful product are being hidden by the products in front of them. I would use your blue squares and make a tower of 4 squares on each side of your table, put your bags in the squares and hang one bags in front of each type of bag. You can hang your key rings and smaller items on the earring rack. Use solid colors for your table covering. The checkered runner makes the display look too busy, a solid color will force the customers eyes to focus on your wonderful products. Additionally, keep the center of your display low so your customers can speak and interact with you without having to look around the backside of your display. I hope that this information will be useful to you and that you will have greater success at your next vending venue.

Don't give up. You are doing so well. It can take years for a business to get off the ground and make a good profit. Stay cheerful 😊

Recommendation is to take a small 4 ft table with you for occasions like this. There was definitely more room in your space for a bigger table and some events let you put up an extra small table. Sometimes some events forget your table entirely so it's always good to have at least a small table for these situations.

Tiny table! You did well considering the size. Having something like that happening always throws me off course. I always find that if im in a smaller/side room as apposed to a big room I’ll make less sales. Like everything, these things take experience and practice to get better, improve your set up, perfect your pitch etc. My little tip for when im getting rid of stock - do buy one get one free or bundle offers so you keep the spend per person higher and get rid of more stock at once. 😊

Lovely video as always :) I've done a few 'Craft and Flea' art markets and they're always pretty good, they get a lot of foot fall. They have a mailing list so you get an email whenever they open up applications. I've been rejected a few times from them because a lot of people apply! but I think they're definitely worth a look and they're always announcing new markets and locations. Have a nice day!

How long do you spend at a convention or market stall? I haven't done any yet, because I get fatigued after just a few hours of being awake. I don't have many high priced items either. I can't imagine them being worth it for me at all.

Love these market day vlogs by you! ❤ Please don't give up, know how disappointing it can be. I did a free student fair recently, had no idea how it'd be. Sold some things but you wonder if it's worth all the prep and effort 😅 x

I have 3 Christmas fares coming up in November. Prepping for 3 is a lot. 2 of the fares are in a Garden centre in Gateshead. I just hope it’s going to be busy 🙈 the last two I have done haven’t been too good!

always ask the size of the table and the size of the spot..then you will know if there is room for a standing display or another small table

I think you should speak with people who have been vending at conventions for years to get a better understanding of what you should be focusing on for “comic con” conventions. Also going too big too fast will be a mistake. Establish who you are as artist/business owner first and focus on gaining an audience.

I feel like conventions are all a numbers game. The business owners I see killing it go to conventions with 30k attendees. I think you did really well considering the amount of foot traffic you had. I would stick to it, you got this!

Ive heard that 10% of the people that show up to a show will stop at your booth, and 10% of those people are going to buy. Always exceptions either way though. the risk of going to in person shows. I just had one, where I always do really well, and this time barely made my booth fee back. win some lose some
