You got to see her live. I'm over 60 years old and her and that voice got me off my butt to see her live twice in the past year. Check out one of the live versions of her doing this song with her band on RUclips. She really belts it out!!!
Truth. First time I saw Sierra live I expected to be disappointed because I hadn't had hopes that high since my first big show seeing Barbara Mandrel in Las Vegas in 1984. Unlike. Barbara Mandrel, Sierra FAR exceeded my hopes.
I love her! Going to see her tomorrow night in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She’s so unique and talented. She’s surrounded herself with some awesome musicians. So amazing to watch her in person. You just want more once you discover her!
Sierra has it all. She writes songs. She sings. She plays, but most importantly she has an incredible sense for arranging and getting the band tight, and her method is to experiment. I've never seen an artist so willing to change up her standard tunes, to keep adding and subtracting various flourishes, changing tempo, even rhythms. I have so many favorites but I will suggest 2 videos. Stanly Brother's CCover with her band and another band - The Little Smokies "I Just Think I'll go Away" ruclips.net/video/XRNkei54BfY/видео.html This is cheating - two for - two original Sierra Songs - professional production and sound for a Live performance. "The Sea" and "At the End of the Rainbow" Rainbow is one of my favorite Sierra originals. I like the sea too and it shows more of her range of creativity. ruclips.net/video/Vzn7aW0Q-YU/видео.html
I hear some Patsy, Dolly and Kitty Wells in her voice as well. Going to see her in May and i can't wait. Also she pronounces her last name rhyming with "barrell" instead of F'Rell.
This was for a John Anderson tribute album. Better than Dolly or Reba. You really need to go down the Sierra rabbit hole. It will blow your mind. And yes, she plays guitar, and fiddle, and I'm sure many more.
What you were describing about the instruments is because bluegrass is a 4 part harmony. Bass, guitar, banjo, fiddle/ mandolin. All separated by one octave.
She is one of my favs. Her voice is amazing and so effortless.
Discovered Sierra recently. OMG!!! I’m surprised she isn’t more popular. Her live version Audiotree is unbelievably good!
I am subscribing to see your dive into Sierra's incredible performances. My favorite artist since 2021.
Thanks man. More Sierra is on the way
(600lbs of sin - 29) she has been incredible for years...
Sierra is awesome!!! This song…chills!

I’d love to see her live. I can’t wait
The live version of her Audiotree STAGED gives me chills!

Sierra Ferrell is the best cowboy country bluegrass artist going right now...and there are quite a few great ones.
Have you been living under a rock? The harmonies are spot on by the way
She is an angel
Check the audiotree version of this. Wow.
Yes!

The live version is far better.
Nothing cringier than someone hearing a new group and trying hard put them in a box that they're already familiar with.
