    Love my P10SC with the 509t. The added weight of the longer slide from the P10F, makes the recoil feel real easy to control and super accurate handgun. By far my favorite polymer striker fire handgun.

      That's my fear. That I'll buy a micro pistol and hate shooting it. My smallest gun is my walther pdp f series 4 inch barrel. I think that's the smallest i can go.
      It's a bit uncomfortable to carry. I'm a smaller guy but the handle or frame jabs at me sometimes.
      I was thinking of getting a micro for carry but if i don't like it, i won't shoot it.

      When I saw the F series I was amazed on how large that pistol actually was. I carried the Springfield hellcat for years. That pistol is not difficult to shoot and extremely easy to carry. Typically the main issue for shooters with micro pistols is the trigger weight is actually heavier than the pistol itself. With training you can master that, but takes a lot of time and commitment.

    • @hunter1028
      @hunter1028 6 месяцев назад +1

      @echo24tactical I had tried for more than a year to master the hellcat, but I just couldn't get myself to shoot the little thing, I just personally don't like the feel. But that Walther F is a pretty solid choice.

    I really like the idea of the CZ shadow 2 compact but for carry I'm a bit hesitant. The lack of a decocker makes me a bit worried. On top of that I like a clearly defined wall in terms of self defense situations. I don't want any surprises about the firearm discharging before I am ready. I thought weight may be an issue as well when it came to carrying but apparently not. I feel like for the range/competition the shadow 2 compact wins out, but maybe for carry the czp10c with the trigger safety instead of manual safety might be a better fit. Maybe I am just exaggerating these issues in my mind.

    Not that it’s something that you should have to do, but the no wall issue can be fixed with aftermarket Cajun parts and fixing the fitment of the sear cage. I additionally replaced the sear spring with a heavier spring to bring the single action pull to a weight more appropriate for carry. The shadow 2 compact is my favorite carry weapon, but I’m disappointed with Cz for having fitment issues with a gun that costs what it does.

    Got a p10c, a pO7, and a shadow 2 compact. All perform excellent(converted gloc boy) and CZ makes only quality with continued innovation. Shadow 2 cocked and locked safety on EDC. Best shooting compact for the money and if you keep your finger out of the trigger housing until you shoot-plus carry decent holster-you will be just fine. 1911's have been toted the same for years.
