We Accidentally Celebrated the Philippines’ Biggest Festival: Sinulog

It was a bit of a shock when we innocently stepped outside our hotel one morning and found that we couldn’t move for crowds. People were wearing dazzling, brightly coloured costumes. Every street corner had a party with loud music and dancing. The traffic was gridlocked, so we ditched our taxi and decided to see what was going on. It turned out we’d accidentally landed in the Philippines’ biggest festival: Sinulog. It looked like fun, so we ditched work for the day and celebrated too!
