Ambilight gives a completely different A look at the TV. The experience of seeing is more realistic, and much more pleasing to the eyes. All the Philips bangs. You're the best. Proud owner of Ambilight Tv.
I had a Philips Ambilight back in 2012 and was very happy with it. (I've forgotten the name of the model). Unfortunately ,later, due to a misshap, a repair which was needed was too expensive so I bought another TV, this time from Samsung. But I've finally I've convinced my wife that we should purchase a new Ambilight, but on the Internet they don't seem to be the same as my former one. The saturation seems seems to be a lot stronger. Is this because they are shown closer to the wall? Another thing I noticed was on my old model (which I don't have the name of anymore), was there on the rear, there were more LEDs...smaller and closer to each other. If there was no COVID, I would look in the shops, and I don't want to take the chance of buying online until I'm sure that the difference is not that great. Maybe someone can help me.

It sounds great until you realise that the company owning your rights in America/Canada is not allowing you to use your patents and sell your ambilight TV here while the rest of the world can. I hate that

I can't tell if the best effect of the ambilight can be gotten from hanging the TV or placing it on a shelf

If the TV is called an Ambilight TV, it means that it has LEDs built in.

where in the usa can I purchase the Philips +935 tv?
You just can't. There is a company here holding Philips right and they stop ambilight from coming here
@@francoisgagnonlemieux3135 Philips is getting shafted in the US right now. I hear some outlets exclusively stock other companies' LIGHTBULBS even.
