Back in 1934 an English woman called Theresa Wallach and a Friend called Florence Blenkiron, crossed the African continent coming from London in a small Panther 600. Theresa lived all her life related to bikes. Before the trip she was a pilot in Brooklands (one of the first to reach the ton) and in the 40ies, she was a dispatch rider during WWII and much more afterwards. She rode until her death in her eighties. Maybe you have heard of her African adventure. Every time I watch your videos I think that you belong to the lineage of those brave female pioneers motorcyclists of yore. You honor that rich heritage. Much respect from a Brazilian biker.

One of my favourites is Running with the moon by Jonny Bealby who after a tragedy in India, decides to ride his bike from London to South Africa and back, it really is a heartfelt adventure that I highly recommend to any biker.

I did a motorcycle trip with a friend about a week ago. about 1700 km over 4 days through beautiful winding mountain forest roads. Small central United States mountains, but still beautiful.
One cold, autumn, New England afternoon, riding my BMW, it started pouring rain. I pulled into the parking lot of a well known little "mom & pop" restaurant to get something hot. Through the window I saw the owner rush to the front door, lock it and flip the OPEN sign over to CLOSED! I asked through the glass, "can I get a cup of coffee to go?" "We're closed" was all he said and turned away.

But be careful.. I saw your right hand glove and right handle bar throttle dusty.. did you fall anywhere on the way...
Beautiful scenery over the mountains. It only gets better as you get closer to Cape Town. Love the drone footage🛵
Absolutely brilliant that one, camera work is magnificent, no wonder your doing so well in the viewing numbers. SA such a beautiful country. 👍
1 word: FANTASTIC!👍🏻
Fantásticas imagens de drone.😊😊😊🇧🇷
Twice over the Swartberg pass, thats a treat and as if thats not enough die klein Karoo, loved your ride today!
Jeez old Ronnie could've been more accommodating than that.. Childhood memories for me living in Vanwyksdorp aka (little oasis) ... Owned a family business there 17years ago called The Funny Farm Restaurant.. Pity you didn't add a glimpse of the town passing by in your video between Rooibergpass and the Route 62.. I'm hooked to your videos..
I have just watched ROSIE GABRIELLE'S video of the same shop. You 2 are my favourite female vloggers by far 👍👍♥️🏍🏍
@it'slosenotloose yeah she had rubbish luck throughout her trip 😢
Fantastic off roading Tracks...what a treat it must be to ride on it ! awesome scenery too !!
Beautiful video. I love the running commentary while you riding. Your drone skills are definitely improving.
Ya, like you, my fav time is just at sunrise to better see the roads & before the heat sets in for the day. Every day seems like a great ride day there!!
Loving this series ! Superb drone footage.
I like how we can see your speed in this series. I know it's in kilometres per hour (which suits me) but it gives us clue of just how technical some of these tracks are..
Well that was a relief but no food! Fabulous scenery and although being out there on your own wouldn’t suit everyone, it certainly adds to one’s sense of adventure and freedom! I adore fresh figs......
You took us soaring over the African mountains, what a beautiful view, thank you Noraly!
Mooi, mooi en zalig in beeld gebracht.Ik was er 2 jaar geleden voor de brand en ben nu vol heimwee en herineringen. Thanks I love it.
Hi, nice to see you and your bike again. Anyway, great views and just hearing that CRF250L engine purring along is good enough for me. Thanks. ❤️❤️❤️😁 ( oops! almost forgot. Your "Road to Hell" cover pix is awesome. Looking rough/tough!)
You are an amazing and fearless girl! Before that, I didn't know the world well. I love your work and these great people!
Good morning Itchy Boots. Let’s go!
You are visiting some really awesome places! Thanks for sharing
Hello Noraly, you made it out of hell in a beautyfull morning sunrise. The dronage was spectacular and we all learned that not always things are as we expected. Stay save and healthy and keep the rubber to the road, greetings from Germany.
What a beautiful place, I've been following since the beginning and you've made me discover the world around me. Thank you.
Claude ;-)
Loving South Africa! Thanks for sharing it with us! :)
Very Cool Country. Thanks for showing us this country
Work has been hectic and I haven't been watching the channel like I used to, but you're always a joy to see. Happy riding! I did a motorcycle trip with a friend about a week ago. about 1700 km over 4 days through beautiful winding mountain forest roads. Small central United States mountains, but still beautiful.
Noraly the hills and the bush looks very similar to western Australia. Take care and be safe from western Australia 👍👍👍
That disappointment at Ronnie's is what every rider could relate to...highly unpredictable to get food in remote areas.
I asked through the glass, "can I get a cup of coffee to go?"
"We're closed" was all he said and turned away.
Ronnie really missed out on becoming even more famous.
@@savage22bolt32 If it is a "well known" restaurant then you should name and shame them so that all bikers can avoid them in future. The power of social media.
@@AdventureGrampa it was called Blue Sky in New Hartford CT.
Was, as they are no longer there.
PS I'm 69, still riding, you too?
We journey on with you leaving hell, Noraly. I see you met ma and pa Ostriches.
Just when we admiring the fantabulous landscape, you treat us to a Spectacular drone sequence. You NEVER disappoint. South Africa gets more interesting and beautiful by each episode. I've never seen such a variety of flowers and plants. Thanks for taking us here today!
Boy, Ronnie was certainly interesting. 🤓
Take care and ride safe. 🖖🏽🤟🏽
Remote part of world can be seen in this channel, great tourer
I was going to tell you how Ronnies shop got its famous name but someone obviously beat me to it. Nice video again as always Noraly. Getting to see my own country through your travels.
