Everyone have an expiration date and this world have an expiration date.There is nothing in this world worth going to hellfire for, depart from worldliness everyone. We all become stuck, or at a crossroads, or are second-guessing our decisions. I think that the events in our lives are not by chance. Thank you for doing this video and sharing your story. I really needed to see hear this. I just went thru my 2nd divorce, my father just diagnosed with colon cancer and my mother had to have a pacemaker and back surgery, plus career issues because of just the economy etc.... its very much on my mind thinking im 55 starting over again and possibly leaving a career that ive done for past 30yrs. Its all i know. To pursue a less stressful and physical career because my body has taken a toll. Its very scarry to be the only bread winner and completely start over. Not wanting to be old and broke. And alone. This has made me listen and like your giving me permission to make the changes.

Thanks for sharing. I worked for the Federal Goverment. Made a lot of money. I hated it every day. I was able to retire early. I went on to work for a school system. I was a teaching assistant. I took care of a disabled child. Made less than half of my former salary. Loved this job so much. I found something I loved to do. You will too.

Girl I hear you! A career in Social work is only for people who truly care for others. It is not about the money. I retired early after 24 years doing SW in NC in the County I live in. I worked for the elderly caregivers raising their grandchildren and provided all 3 programs to them we administered. When the Obamas health care was implemented my job turned into something I could no longer recognize. I’m not saying his health care plan wasn’t good for some people whatsoever. It turned my job into production work making sure all I did was behind a keyboard administrating 3 government assistance programs. It just ruined the lives of our elderly caregivers that I served. I could no longer be a social worker therefore my home visits, helping them with groceries, took my support group I had developed away. They loved meeting all together to vent and telling the reasons why they are now raising grandchildren and how the parents didn’t care about the kids nor them. We’d all eat together that the County provided. It meant so much to them they continued on meeting at our local Pizza Inn monthly because they had all developed friendships. I’m sorry for rattling on I’m just still heartbroken and passionate over what my families accomplished and then lost. I still miss them a lot.
there is nothing wrong with taking a break for a while, I don't being a doctor is a challenging job, demanding. But when you get bored or in need of cash you can always go back to your education!

Dear Habiba, you helped me through my toughest times. I came across your videos in 2019 when I was experiencing a racial assault in Canada. I had 2 major surgeries as a result of my horrible experience in Canada. You taught me so much and I just want to thank you.

Did anyone from law enforcement help you? That's not okay to be assaulted just because of your race.
@@1bluegreen2 I moved out of Canada eventually. The racial system in Canada is difficult to conquer. You either leave the country or die fighting. I chose life instead.
I pray whoever assaulted you gets prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I am praying for you

Wow where do I begin! I’ve watched only 2 Temu videos of yours and this was my third. We were County neighbors once. I live in Rockingham and if you lived in Laurinburg you know Rockingham. If you were like us when you stayed close by “Moore County” is where we’d shop and eat. I’ve lived here all my life. I worked for local government at DSS and due to my health retired early. You are so inspiring and I feel like I know you after just watching 3 videos. I worked with a lady that has your spirit of life like you and she passed a few months back so maybe that’s where I’m feeling this attachment. I think what you were or are looking for was a calling, not many find it through. I found mine working with working with people who have developmental disabilities and loved my job immensely, was there a ton of money in it? No Did I have a great pension or 401 K ? Hell no. But I have memories and have made friends with these people sometimes even as close as family and will never forget our time together.
I am here for women changing it up especially women that lived before and now starting over
Every day we learn something new, beautiful, enlightening and amazing. God gives us questions and challenges along our individual journeys…,but every day is worthwhile… Habiba you are where you’re supposed to be to be today… and isn’t it glorious ❤🙏🏽👏🏽

This really resonates with me. I am 41 and I left my teaching career last year. I am trying to figure myself out and what I want to do for the rest of my life. I just knew that teaching was not it because I was so full of stress and anxiety. I have one 20 year old daughter who is doing well in college. For 18 years, she was my life and my purpose. Now I have to figure out what I want to do with me.

I love seeing this side of you- makes you more relatable! I am currently taking acting classes but just for fun- I finished one of my acting courses yesterday and I finish the second course in 3 weeks! I always wanted to give it a try but didn’t feel confident. I too come alive on stage even though I am an introvert and quiet shy. I just took on a tremendous task. I'm an older bkack woman, who had lots of money sitting in a financial corporation. I used the money and set out on a big dream. I purchased 2 houses for my grandsons. One was rented immediately. The other, scheduled to be a short term rental, is taking forever!
I was monetarily taxed beyond my wildest dreams. But, I'm dealing with it.
I understand the feeling of possible failure. Also, the investment of loads of money.
I have little support but I still move forward.

I think it's called midlife crisis for a reason.
You suddenly reach a milestone, perhaps a birthday, or see a classmate, a relative doing well and suddenly question everything.
As a fellow Doc who left practice for a while, I understand you perfectly.
But here is one thing I learnt from the richest man on earth then (Solomon).
He had riches, many wives and concubines and he said everything he wanted he got, but in the end, proclaimed all is vanity and vexation of the spirit, we brought nothing to this world and it is sure we're taking nothing out.
In summary,
Fear God, Count your blessings and appreciate God for what you already have, ask God for directions, live healthy, impact lives as you're doing because at the end when we leave this world, we will not be remembered for what we did for our own self but what we did for humanity and what greater joy is there, to live a well fulfilled life on earth like Abraham and still be a force to reckon with in Heaven.

I am a single mom with two kids in college and just barely serving day by day pay check to paycheck. Feeling like you said an adult who just can’t seem to get it together. I know I’m a bit late in replying BUT I had to say a few things. I LOVE GUINEA PIGS which was what caught my attention in this video initially. I’ve always adopted them from our local SPCA where I live in Canada. ❤
I’m a Palliative Care Nurse in a nursing home & that’s what drew my initial interest to your channel. I’m off on sick leave & I’m recovering from my third open heart surgery since January 9th of this year. I actually LOVE your family style channel which brings me to my final reason that made me love your channel & that is……..
…….. I have two sons in their early twenties my youngest will be 22 in November & my oldest will be 24 next February of 2025 ) who both won full scholarships & BOTH are in the States instead of where we live in Canada because of the programs being so much better. My youngest is in New York but it’s my oldest son being close to you guys which really makes me happy. He’s going to university in Florence, South Carolina on a baseball scholarship! 🥰

So heart warming. For somebody like me who only does what I know to do, just taking this step is a huge success. Every step we take outside our comfort zone gives us gems to add to our repertoire and self development. I am a Nurse Practitioner and we learn to compartmentalize our feelings on the job. Medicine and acting are like night and day and just doing what you did is a very bold step. My dear, you have nothing to be ashamed of, a big congratulations to you.
