I love the Tara cross for it's symbolic association with the Hill of Tara and the ancient Kings of Ireland. I have gold Tara cross necklace and earrings which I wear regularly and with pride.

So impressed at how you can read the inscriptions. That old and still legible. Thank you for sharing.

Some are just about legible and others are perfect like just etched out yesterday, it's amazing really ❤️🍀🇮🇪

Thank you Sue.It’s sad the damage to the big statue .But it looks like a really exposed area and I guess your right it could have been the weather that caused it.However considering how many of the stone that are still standing are very legible for their ages I was pleasantly surprised. Most lived a good age too there..It must have been a lovely cemetery when it was first erected,it’s a bit sad it’s not looked after quite as well as some others, but we had beautiful views once more ..Love n Light 🥰

The cemetery and its surroundings are ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! It's SOOOOOO peaceful too!! Is there a caretaker who is in charge of the cemetery and the island itself??!!

I'm not really sure, I'd say there is a local committee of locals maybe who take care, our lady's island is gorgeous, loads of swans, I must do a flog and bring ye all on the walk around the area.. Carne out the road is a very popular beach and pier ❤️🍀🇮🇪

It kinda goes to show, however wealthy and influential you are in Life, at some stage you will be forgotten, unless we keep up this kind of footage, as they say, there are no pockets in shrouds, again thanks for the adventure xx
