You guys got some amazing deals at your discount store. So wish we had one of those in Ohio. I love watching you organize the pantry & restock your containers. For some reason that is so satisfying to watch. 😉. I’ve never heard about freezing rice because of bugs but I have heard of freezing your flour for 7-10 days to make sure there are no bugs. 🤭. Great job getting everything organized & put away. Your girls cracked me up. Makes me miss my younger years with my sisters & being silly. ♥️

Good Morning! I was happy to hear you mention your donuts. I made your donuts this weekend for a work crew doing yard work at my home. I made chocolate, vanilla and raspberry. I used white beans for the vanilla and added raspberry jam to the others. They were a HUGE hit! Made pumpkin donuts for hubbys pot luck that went over very well. Thank you for sharing. Woke up today and feeling a bit down. Much going on health wise in family. I have a lot to be thankful for but today I am feeling a bit worn down from all. God is good and have faith all will be fine but some days harder than others. Understand your feelings lately and I’m doing what I can do too 🙏🏻

I love when I can get rid of things or use them up. I always check cans and if I know we won't eat them\make anything with them and they're near expiration I'll donate them to our church (though I will say your gather your fragments and meal prep helps me use what I have most of the time). BTW that's a really nice stand up freezer, ours doesn't have shelves in the door and makes a lot of it's own ice at the top which takes up half or space in that shelf until we chip it off...

I don’t have roomin the freezer for rice, but I do put bay leaves in my rice for storage. No bugs since I started doing that a couple years ago. Forget where I read it. But so very glad it works!

I use one of those laundry hampers on wheels ( easy to move out of the way if necessary) and put a mixed bundle of chip packets in it. Other way is to lie the chip boxes on the side in a row and make a window opening at the end so kids can take what they want easily without disorganizing everything.
Yes I do this concept with some things in my Upright Freezer that come in boxes or I will put them in boxes that i made a window on. Like the Box of Burgers I get from Walmart. or say those tiny Pizza Pockets. or even Chicken Strips/Nuggets and things the boys are always grabbing for to make themselves. The ones that need to be I will freezer bag them in portion sizes, then just slide them into the box window i made. #1
I can put things on the top of the boxes. #2 The Boys and well I don't have things falling out on the floor so much either to get what we need. #3 It makes it easier for them to choose what they want to grab as well. Which in return less issues with them needing my help or bogs of this or that sliding out as well. hahahaha #4 Easier to know what to order more of when things are running low and tell what of their Favs are running low much easier

We drink lemonade in our house all year round too. My favorite is actually the frozen fresh strawberry lemonade from Sheetz gas station. I could literally drink it everyday cause I love it so much!
I watched this while working on my own tasks that I had to do for work that I brought home to finish. I’m a preschool teacher aide and I always have art to cut out or to sort or glue! You kept me motivated to finish and move on to making dinner! Thanks!

I put bay leaves in rice and flour to keep bugs 🐛 away. It works for me. Also, your rice should be kept in a place with low humidity.

That definitely was a good deal on the nuts you got! They're always so expensive even at Walmart! Sometimes you can get lucky and find good deals on nuts at Big Lots like how you found the good deal on the big jars of coconut oil that last time. I found out about the deals on their nuts because my Mom loves Big Lots! She also stocks up on them when she finds them and keeps hers in her deep freezer too.

You Could make a Russian tea with your lemonade mix, and some tang mix, instant tea with lemon and you put clove and cinnamon mix it all in a container and it’s just really really good and you put like a 3 teaspoons in a cup and pour hot water on it it’s so good in the winter.

Hi Amy, i do love your pantry I have a smaller one but overfilled and now using four shelves of my linen closet which is what I call reserves, using pantry first and refill from the closet, never enough room lol! Containers take room but better than the nasties right! My kiddoes would love your snack area. I never seem to have enough room my son says I over buy ha! ha! But we never run out. And talking about over buying I have just had to purchase another huge fridge you got it I need more fridge room lol! Your so organised like myself and know just were things are my kids laugh when I tell them we’re to find things. Great video thank you. Stay safe

Did you ever get rid of your fruit flies and do you have any idea how you got them? I am still fighting them and have decided they will be house guests for awhile. We have no idea how we got them as we do not keep food scraps in the house. We feed them to the fish, turtles and alligators in our pond.
They just appear...people say through the drain but i haven't found that ..:) but i don't watch the drain all day lol. Vinegar and soap in a glass jar just leave it out they will go in and guess what...as it gets cooler they will stop appearing. Happens every year same time :)
