I knew which one is real and which one is fake since I am also have the same model( mine is GA-100CF-1ADR) made in Thailand st.steel back Japan. But, friendly suggestion from me, since there is quite a lot of people which is never have/just planning to have ones, I think it would be much better if you speak even just a little to describe the differences. It would be a great help since currently, there is a lot of fake g-shock which is nearly the same in prices/look with the original ones, circulated in the market all around the globe. Just my2cents.. however still, it's a nice video
the music seems like in a bar and somebody dancing, however i need an oral explanation regarding which fake or real in order to understand your demonstration.
the one with the speed dial (center up little complication dial) moving hand is real (end of the video, left side). the fake one has the dial but the hand is not moving , it's just a prop, not a real watch hand
Thank you for the video. I have 3 questions: 1) Does the watch with GPS on batteries, those who do not need to charge every 12-20 days, if not less? 2) What kind of watches do you wear if you wear it? 3) And is it possible to replace the battery with a battery with a regular one, if you give it to experts?
The black one is genuine you can clearly say by the engraving on the back is deeper and more sharper in the real (black) and blurry on the fake one. And the black g shock has its full model number which is GA100C on the other hand fake one does not give proper model number only showing GA100. And the original one has bigger screws that go deeper in the band cause it has to be 200m water resistant and for the fake one has tiny screws merely 30 m water resistant. The Black gshock is real and green is fake
Exactly! When I saw the transparency and flexibility of the right bracelet I immediately guessed it was the fake ^^' And then the color of the right display is very ugly xD
Hi every one im just asking ,beacuz my g shock has stop to oparete how to manage it for long time using beacus i stock this for a couple of months ,then i see it now but not totaly stop how to recover it .thank uou so much for those who answer me in advance

Hi there I got my first g shock ga100 the other day but worried it could be fake as buckle says casio Thailand and on the case it says Japan mov and cased in Thailand.. The little dial in the middle works auto light works and when you take the back off you have to remove this white plastic cover thing to get to the battery which is cr1220..
I have the same fake model, is anybody have the same model, i have a problem with battery change, dont know where to reset watch after battery change, cant find AC spot so watch remains dead, please help.
I understand fake Rolex and Omega these pieces worth like 5-10k made in Switzerland but a G-shock is like 65$ made in either China or Thailand ! why the trouble?
they re scammed!!! also f91w is faked a lot and sold for the same money of original one... Those cheap watches were produced (90 percent of time) only for scam people on line and in local market :) Personally i only buy fake replacement strap for cheap casios because the genuine parts cost more than the full watch. An example a genuine strap for f91 cost 5/8 euro in my country (with no delivery) the fake costs 2 euro delivered from aliexpress, i can pay for a new original f91w 12 euro but i don t trash a working watch only for the strap
Casio watches are of the worst quality because most of them fit with 4 bolts in a resin box or plastic those 4 holes are overcome when you change in the second battery and as careful as they do and you can no longer dive it into the water a great decision the Cassios with bolts
How can people be so dumb, the green one is obviously the fake, the clock hand on top was painted! He clealry pointed that out, plus it was terrible on so many levels...
We always get the real vs. fake vids. I'm still waiting for the "Is a $300 G-Shock 30x better - for the average person - than a $10 sportswatch?" videos.
That would be the instinctual thing to do, but wouldn't quite fit the bill. I'm talking about the wear and tear the average person puts a sports watch through. Of all the people who own G-Shocks, how many of them need a watch that will help them circumnavigate the globe by life raft, or that will survive being hit by a sandblaster or a descent in which the parachute doesn't open? If a person wants a G-Shock for the cache or extras it comes with, that's perfectly cool. Everyone's entitled to like a watch for any reason they wish. But it seems like the G-Shock is often ironically promoted as a beater watch that you want on your wrist if you're free-climbing the Half Dome at Yosemite or engaged in a pit fight to the death in the jungles of Laos, when the cheapie might actually be the one you want for those occasions. The G-Shocks kind of seem like the "prestige beater watch" you wear on occasions in which it will not take a beating, then can show everyone how it can keep track of the split times of 12 different people without getting a scratch. That being said, it's not like a person has to spend $300 on a G-Shock. The low-end ones can be had for about $40. I just think an average person who is not a watch collector would find the return on investment declining sharply once we start talking about the mid- to high-end offerings with all the bells and whistles.
It depends, I see your point and I do not disagree completely, yes, most people will be perfectly fine with a fake one, but with such a watch there's no guarantee it won't break just by wearing it as you're swimming for example, or taking a shower, plus the real difference comes when you have the analogic movement, the fake ones are just bad.
@@alexfreetime9597 This is where my "average person/average use" argument kicks in. Pretty much only people swimming to compete wear a watch into the pool/lake/ocean. Almost no one wears one in the shower unless they're rinsing off at the pool/lake/ocean. So we're left with the other functions. I have a few for different situations (running, hiking, climbing, etc.) ranging from 1-10 years old. None cost me more than $16. There are some scratches - and the illumination tends to decline with age - but all still work perfectly well. I think the worst beating they take is when the resin/rubber-like bands catch on the straps of my backpack when I put it on. Besides, the scratches aren't that important. You put a nice watch on if you're trying to impress someone - not this aesthetic of sports watch. Otherwise people tend to get the impression that you either don't have a nicer watch, don't know when it's appropriate to wear one, or are some douche who wants to talk about his triathlon training. 🤣 My main recommendation would be to get one with a cloth strap. The other materials tend to be a mixed bag and will tear or break long before the watch is otherwise unusable.
Well, definitely for kids a cheap watch is a must, giving them a nice expensive one is basically asking to have it destroyed (I know that because as a kid I did it, and now I regret it, sigh!), talking about something average. I do have nice original watches tho, actually I love them, but I wear them because I really like them, not to impress others, I'm sure I'm not the only one, depending on the day I could decide to wear a sporty Casio or a Fossil, maybe the next day it will be a Suunto, who knows, but that's just me. I have obviously different kind of bands, but take in consideration that cloth straps need to be washed (sometimes they can become smelly) or they can get dirty, when I train I use a Casio GD-100 (all plastic), believe me, I've abused that watch big time during the years, I train everyday for two hours and nothing seems to have any effect on it, no corrosion, plastics still like the firts day, same as the colours, it's a tank (I've used it even when diving sometime, and it fell or hit stuff multiple times), I had a cheap watch few years ago, I was quite satisfied, but the bands broke (even tho the watch was still working, in fact I still have it, I've just replaced them because I'm too attached to it, yeah, I'm the sentimental kind!), I think that the real problems with cheap ones start when they add the analogic movement. Sure on average a cheap watch could do, why not, I mean if it has been reviewed positively by many, however there are quite a few affordable options from famous brands too. What are the brands\models of your wacthes if I can ask?
Agreed. I have two good fakes that do everything. I dont work in heavy industry and haven't really been in an accident in a few years so that takes the anti-shock out of the equation
Its hard to care about fakes of such a poor functioning watch model. The black screen ones are largely unreadable and the light is above and to the bottom of the face so just light the room and nothing on the watch. The speed meter is interesting but that's about it. I think I have a fake that was sent as part of a scam for what turned out to be a watch costing a £114000. I paid £40 so I'll sell this casino. Auto light works and the back look real but the strap is quite hard.

This video is amazing. As someone doesn't familiar to gshock like me, I don't even know which is real after watching it.
You couldn't tell? The fake one has a hand that's not real which is the green one.
I usually check the illumination. If it's not total shit, it's not an original Casio ;)
You made my day with your comment :D
