- This recorded webinar is the first of a three-part bumble bee identification course focused on midwestern bumble bee species. In Part One, you will learn the basics of bumble bee anatomy and how to identify and sex the following bumble bee species:
Common eastern bumble bee (B. impatiens)
Brown-belted bumble bee (B. griseocollis)
Two-spotted bumble bee (B. bimaculatus)
Half-black bumble bee (B. vagans)
Sanderson’s bumble bee (B. sandersoni)
Perplexing bumble bee (B. perplexus)
