Thank you for checking it out. This was my late uncle’s band from here in the Kansas City area. I own the master and I’m hoping to get it on iTunes, Spotify and other digital outlets.

Yes he did. There are at least three 45’s. I have perfect copies of both but before he passed away, he gave me the masters so I hope to remaster them and get them up on iTunes, Spotify, etc. It honestly warmed my heart when you mentioned Sunny & The Sunliners. Sunny was one of his favorites and would often play with his band when they were in Kansas City. He had an old school autographed photo of Sunny hanging in his rec room. I still regret not asking for it. Unfortunately I believe that my aunt trashed it. She eventually threw out all of his instruments, sound equipment and vintage beer light up signs that he had when he owned a Tejano bar here in KC during the 70’s. I believe it was called Charro’s but I could be wrong. I was a little kid back then. I have his band playing Reina De Me Amor, It’s Impossible and a cumbia that was the b-side of Mil Abrazos. I don’t know what else is there because what I have are the pressing plates that vinyl was made from. I will be posting the other songs. I spun Tejano on the radio here for about 25yrs before moving to producing local tv but Tejano is in my heart and soul. We are related to the Pacheco that plays in La 45 but I don’t know how but that guy (I believe he’s a drummer) played with several of the top guys in this area as well like Greg Conchola, Steve Reyes and Junior and Manuel Vargas. Manuel moved to TX and sang with Roberto Pulido for a long time before starting Grupo Badd. KC had a really good Big Band scene hear at one time. Since I do video production I would love to one day produce a documentary about the Chicano music scene in KC. Several of the musicians have been passing away so I would like to fry to interview as many of them as I can before they are gone as well. Thx for the comment. He was my favorite uncle so it really means alot to me.
