You do make the best road videos Kyle in my opinion because you go not only through major cities but small towns and we learn more about the history of the towns you cover.
My favorite time of day on road trips. There's just something special about the first hour or two of the day when I'm on the road far from home. Really nice video Kyle, thanks......
Where you started this video was once the start of US 550. A few decades ago, it was rerouted to the south and east (from old NM 44) to start at I-25 north of ABQ to serve as a direct route to Durango. I love this drive especially as you approach the San Juan’s.
I love those drives that start before sunrise! Was in Durango in 2018, coming from Santa Fe, so we didn’t drive 550. Only spent a day in Durango, but we needed to be in Keystone CO the next day. Yeah, you need to drive the million dollar highway, you won’t regret it. Thanks for showing your trip!
So the 37th parallel includes lots of border states including Four Corners National Park, Utah/Arizona, Colorado/New Mexico, Oklahoma/Colorado, and Oklahoma/Kansas borders
Northern NM and SW Colorado is so beautiful! I have never been on the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad but hope to some day. I think the US 160 US 50 US 550 US 24 and U285 are some of the best scenery to be seen. Great video Kyle!
Loved the video,my husband was sent out to that area to do upgrades on a few small phone systems,he brought me back some rounded black stones near the bridge that was crossed before the state line. It was cool to see where picked up my aquarium rocks, loved that city towards the end of the video, would love to go there !

I absolutely love the scenery starting at 12:00. Those mountains in the background are so majestic with the sunrise and the background the music.
The San Juan's provide a beautiful backdrop for the area!

12:00 WIZARD PHINEAS FLYNN: Okay, SpongeBob. You need to come with me to Farmington before Bart is rescued.
Beautiful country!
It really is!
Great video 👍
Thank you Mike!
Actually the mountains that you see on the left side are the La Plata mountains. The San Juan are further north.
