I tried all sorts of exercises and treatments for a couple of months, slight improvement. Finally booked 6 week sessions of shock wave therapy and noticed improvement steady after each session. One more to go but already I am walking nearly normal and practically pain free. Highly recommended by me.
Did it work?
@@crispycruiser4654 I’m pleased to say yes it did. I highly recommend shock wave therapy for Plantar Fasciitis. I’m playing golf 3 times each walking fast and jogging regularly down the gym. Not sure I want to go back rod running but pretty sure I could if I wanted to.
@@normanmorgan1596 Thank goodness. Do you think it was the shockwave that helped you? I have been dealing with this for over two years, in THREE different locations. First the central band, and I had Topaz surgery. Recovered fully. Then the medial band. Had Tenjet surgery. Recovered fully. Now the lateral band. It is just un-freaking-believable. There is no pain at rest, so I feel ready to go go go, until I stand up, then it feels like walking on marble. It's there every step, but it does relent as I walk more throughout the day. Unbelievably frustrating. I got it in my right foot after I had Achilles tendonitis in my left foot. Guess I was heavily compensating at different parts of my right foot at different times. I had shockwave a couple years ago for metatarsalgia (2nd and 3rd toe capusiltis) and it did completely clear up about a month after the shockwave. I've had two rounds of shockwave on my lateral band and more sore than ever before. Doctor says this is normal and give it a month after the 4th or 5th session, so another 6-8 weeks.
I had this done almost 15 years ago, it took 3 months to stop hurting, but I’m 100% pain free. Had both feet done, it’s incredible!
Seriously? I am looking for something to actually work. How much did this cost you?
I had this done a few years ago as well. Had plantar fasciitis in my right heel. Tried everything before and NOTHING. Nothing was working so my doctor told me EPAT is a great last resort. It cost me $500 but let me tell you. SO worth the money and the risk. It completely cured it. I had plantar fasciitis back in 2015 and haven’t had it ever since. So grateful and I’m a HUGE believer in EPAT!!
@@sarahtoscana8232 What is EPAT?
Same, I did this after trying just about everything else and I thought it did not work but 3 weeks after the pain was gone!
Just wonderful, I been tryin to find out about "physiotherapy treatment for plantar fasciitis" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Seayiliamon Aphonic Supremacy - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? It is an awesome one of a kind guide for discovering how to eliminate your plantar fasciitis minus the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my colleague got amazing success with it.
Thank you.
I put engine valve in the rotary hammer. Only drawback that frequency and power is proportional.
Can this be done for the ball of foot ?
I also have heel spur. I already doing more than two month this therapy. Sorry say you , still i have pain my heel.tell me a answers.
Eswt operation is done on my right ball. They said it was plantar fasciitis. After how many sessions does it work?
I did nine sessions. Didnt work for me
I was diagnosed with chronic pain in both my heels after an injury (falling from height).
The pain was so bad, it felt like my feet were on fire, worn-out and throbbing.
By chance i found out the podiatrist has a pulse wave machine.
I go there every 6 weeks and get this pulse therapy on the inside of my heels.
I dont get the servere burning feeling anymore. After the treatment my heels feel great..but shortly after an itchyness comes back and some discomfort.
You mean shockwave therapy or pulse therapy
I’m currently going through this and I’m in more pain. I was limping when I left the chiropractor, and still in more pain 3 days later.
How’d you end up?
I had 6 treatments over 6 weeks and it didn't do anything to improve my PF. Very expensive!
Wow that is disappointing. Do you remember your Hz level?
Can shockwave therapy be used for plantar fasciitis which has been present for less than 3 months?
@@crispycruiser4654 I've been to multiple doctors and they are clueless about most of the things because healthcare is one of the worst aspects of the country where I live. Not long ago they didn't even know what is shockwave or for example PRP injections.. So unfortunately I am forced to study about things myself and then propose solutions to them. I shouldn't do that, that is their job but life sucks so..
What are the settings? Mhz and frequency?
5.0, 2000 shocks is standard. But the treatment didn't work for me at all.
Does this procedure work for bone spurs?
Lizica Dumitru I think it can not sure
Yes, shockwave works for bone spurs. We have cost-effective shockwave machine.

"Dr" Timothy....yeah right…
How much this cost
There are a few components to curing for plantar foot. One place I discovered which successfully combines these is the Rohon foot care (google it if you're interested) definately the most incredible remedy that I have ever seen.Check out all the super info .
@@TheMarch66 paid 250$ per treatment, had 3 , dr said I will take few weeks to fill positive effects.
I asked for level 11-12
Doesn’t matter how much cost , the pain is so debilitating, that money isn’t important
