Because you’re having activities outside, I’d recommend putting the bartender/ bar against the wall with the painting in the dining room. That way the people eating at the bar top tables can also watch people play outside while they eat & drink. You can also decorate the bar area more since you’ve got a flat wall behind it.

GREAT IDEA!!! And the Ski Bar sign will still work even though it won't be directly above it...or she can even add an arrow hanging from the bottom towards the new spot!

Yes!! Or I was thinking to move her table there so it’s not outside it’s so nice and expensive I wouldn’t want it outside but there to the side and the bartender can go in the middle

Can you think of anything I'm missing to bring this theme to life?
Would love to see a few extra props for ski chair area, fur muffs, fur hats, goggles,maybe xmas themed scarves but classy, few pair of snow boots. on your outside patio, you could maybe have small style trees in buckets to match the snow area and just FILL every tree with lights lights n more lights, shame you cant cover your pool and have a fire pit in that area, with a mountain back drop huge poster! But please please try n find some Dark green large and small baubles for your indoor xmas tree, it would bring the green from blanket, cushions etc altogether. Just ideas, so hope you dont mind me saying any of this. Takecare Rose x

Ravens approach to parties, celebrations and hosting is literally how I would love to do. If I had the money. Literally we only live once make it a movie, make it grand, make it a moment to remember. I love it.
When you first announced the theme I didn't see the vision and how it would differ from a traditional winter theme but NOW I see it 😍

dress code is whatever you would wear to a real ski lodge, it's going to be decently cold that day and it's partially and outdoor party at night! Plus we did pajamas last year so gotta switch it up!
Love the ski lodge theme, seeing the blanket and cushion next to your huge living room tree, I would love to see a dark green bauble here and there......and a hot chocolate and crepe stand would be fab to also see in kitchen area😉 xx

You should get some more (pvc?) and paint it black and someone connect it in the two openings of the piece at the top of the red pvc and guide it to your stairwells, somehow drilling a hole in both at the end to wrap zip ties? to the stair rails. This would give illusion of the bench hanging from the ski lift “cables”.
This party is going to be amazing and so heartfelt that you spend your $ on your family and friends for a joyous occasion. You’re awesome in your giving and will be well rewarded somehow someway ! ❤🎄
A small suggestion 🙋🏽♀️ put a white tarpaulin down for the snow so 1) you don’t ruin the grass 2)adds a fuller effect with the white snow 3) easier to clean in case it turns sludgy lol oh and a microphone cos I remember everyone yelling over each other when someone tryna talk 😅 otherwise.. I’m super excited to see it all come to fruition! Awesome job on the ski lift and the customised ski’s - they look great!

Raven you could also use some type of wire or string through the top of the ski lift to make it just a bit more realistic. You could tie the string from the bottom of the stairs to the top of the stairs to give it that ski lift look.

the more wood textures the better. also nice animal touches like a moose or deer head. thats what adds that cabin, resort, lodge feel.

I’m loving the series and Coninuation of your theme video rather than all condensed into one 😍 it’s like I’m binging a TV show ! The reveal of the Ski lift and DIY snow is Crazy creative! I can’t wait for the finished product 🥰 also for the trees outside, if it doesn’t turn out corny, you could take the white swiffer pads and place them inside the trees as if snow is layered on top

I don't know if you sent out invitations yet, but it would be really cool if the RSVP we're a call in thing where they called and you would be like, "Thank you for calling Elyse Mountains Ski Lodge, how can I help you?" or a recorded line that they would click through to RSVP! Like they were actually booking a ski slot! Or an automatic text reply that said something like, "thank you for choosing to spend your holiday at Elyse Mountains this year!" etc, plus booking information for those who may stay the night 😂 This theme is very cool and you always do amazing work! Either way, I know it's gonna be wonderful!
Take all the leftover boxes from the snow and build an igloo for the snow area outside! ❄️ I’m from a ski resort area and you’re definitely nailing it!
