This is working really well with my wedges too. It translates to short irons!!! I feel like I’m dropping my right shoulder and head behind the ball to start my downswing
Craig, you said the left hip turning back is garbage. You were making the point that the hip shift or slide is an important source of power. However, Gears data show the hips open at impact. Can both be true? A video on how the two are related (or what myths exist about the two) would be helpful. Thanks.
I think you misunderstood. I guess you haven’t seen many of my videos. The hips turn 35- 50 degrees at impact with the PGA pros. Torso 26-34 degrees. I have never mentioned that the body does not open ever. I mentioned however that there is a lateral shift of 10-15cm . I am partners with Dr Robert Neal the worlds leading biomechanics specialist on worldclassgolf.com I have spoken many many times about turn on RUclips about this. However the real good information and series are not on RUclips. Unfortunately people believe that it’s all in RUclips and it’s all free. But it’s not. 98% of instruction on RUclips is incorrect and really bad and super confusing and conflicting. People just jump from one thing to the next and confuse themselves.
Always tried to drop the hands to change the plane - the shoulder movement is so much easier so thanks a lot 🙏🏼
Thanks Michael very much appreciated

Great vid Craig. Should you loop n tilt with an iron but obvs being 5 cams ahead of ball ?
Experiment with the feel see how it develops
Sometimes Craig you're way over my head but my goodness you really give that ball a crack!
