They might not be gelatinous, it might be because of the pressure of the waters that they live in. As I learned here (and other places), when the animals are pulled up to the surface, the pressure is less; therefore the animals bloat, turning into blobs... poor babies
By far my favourite RUclips channel ❤️ Ps. Tasmanians /Australians pronounce csiro as individual letters not one word. Not that it matters the content is so good just letting you know.

amazing video as always and seeing you live made it even better (you are so attractive)- I for one is against mining the ocean floor-who knows what damage we can do or wipe out life form that maybe kills cancer etc...much success-stay safe
Those gigantic isopods were used in the movie Pacific Rim. I thought they were CGI until I looked them up 😅 And now I can't swim in the ocean for yet another reason 🌊😮😢
Really bad voice. I can see why she gets other folks to do the narration. It's a really good choice. Ok, can't listen to anymore of this unfortunate voice.
Can't get enough of Origins Explained. I love learning and this is an amazing way. Thank you.
I like to hit myself with a hammer. It's a great way to toughen up.

It's bad enough what mining companies do to the planet they shouldn't be allowed to destroy the oceans too😢
You got your hair done? it looks good
After thinking about it for a long time but I think I'd try eating a steamed isopod. Never hurts too try something new

Kristina it is octopi not octopuses just fyi
No. We have destroyed our oceans enormously enough. Crisis!
I'd try the isopod. Lobsters and crabs are just big ocean bugs too. So why not. Bring on thw butter.
Leave the ocean sea bottom alone. We have already destroyed what's on the land.
Sit down and be ignorant in silence
I agree we should leave our oceans alone we have messed our land up we don't need our oceans messed up as well
Ok aquaman.. my bad
Amen
agreed!
It ate a fully grown squid? How big is this gulper eel thing!?
#8 whenever I see them, always say its a roach 😂 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
🤮 I COULDN'T EAT THAT.
You will eat bugs and be grateful that your leaders let you.
