Yoshino is out of their minds. Their 100 watt solar panel is $300.

The perk of solid state is having to replace this unit way less. It can handle way more cycles than your typical battery, and will last you longer.
Its also as the marketing says, more energy dense, meaning you're getting more energy, for a smaller form factor, as well as lighter.
Its new tech currently, but I'd personally get one if longevity and portability is what you want.

Options are always good and help promote more diverse ingenuity. However, for $198, I can buy the Bluetti EB3A, weighs 10.2 lbs., 268 WH LFP battery, 600 watts with surge to 1200. I currently have 5 of them for numerous portable uses and they work great.
Keep up the good work and thank you for your efforts!

I'd buy an EBL 300 for $149 before I'd buy this thing. Same size inverter but more WH's for a $100 less.

The case is so heavy. Why are they ruining the image of what solid state should be. Also the solar panel input is really unfortunate

A combination of poor decision making and the rapid, unexpected improvements in LFP (LiFePo4) cells.
That said - their larger models do still have size and weight advantages over the LFP competitors, and they have much more solar capability as well, so it's worth taking a look at them. 👍

I own one. It isn't heavy at all. Feels incredibly light when handling.
