I think David's voice is beautiful! My favorite songs that he sings are: Light Your Windows, Words Can't Say, Flashing Lonesome and Too Far. The singing in The Fool and the instrumental is like entering a magical mind space for me. Quicksilver was my favorite SF band in the 60/70s, went to countless concerts and have wonderful memories. There was just something special about these guys like John and Gary's styles which were brilliantly blended to create something very amazing. David' multi instrumental capabilities and wonderful singing, Greg's excellent and tasteful drumming made it all come together!
We can thank David for that wonderful opening on J⭐ships "Miracles". Without that beautiful intro, that classic just wouldn't be the same. He always impressed me as a fine musician, and never given enough praise and admiration. The great and mighty Jefferson Starship had some of the best singers and musicians on the planet. From 'DragonFly" to "Nuclear Furniture", that was an era which produced some amazing things to cherish. The R&R Hall of Fame should consider them, as they did w/the Airplane, but who knows. Those guys deserve their place among the greats, too!
