      When I click on the link, it says it will work for a Lexus LX 470 2004-2006. Will this work on a 2007 Lexus LX 470?

    • @gromaudio
      @gromaudio  10 месяцев назад

      @@keylanistyles yes, it will work on 2007 Lexus LX 470 if the stereo has factory navigation. When you click on the page and check the tab called "Compatibility", you will see the 2007 Lexus LX 470 listed as compatible.

    Just curious why this won’t work on the 2003 LX470; it’s the same radio head as the 2004 and up. Please advise when able. Thank you

      2003 Lexus LX470 with the factory navigation is compatible with GROM VLine VL2 or VLite VT2 system, however slightly different model is needed. You can check here compatible nodels:

    Will the V Line's location inside the GC obstruct access to the inside cabin air filters? Those are located inside the glove compartment. Nice video.. And will my SiriusXM radio work with this system? Thank you!

    • @gromaudio
      @gromaudio  Год назад

      You can check and position the VLine so it does not obstruct the cabin air filters.
      The Sirius XM will keep working.

    Can you set it to start up every time you turn on the car automatically or do you need to hit the button each time the car is started?

    • @gromaudio
      @gromaudio  7 месяцев назад

      It will start up every time you turn on the car. You need to pair and connect your phone once, and after that everything is automatic.

    You show two options for the LX470. Which is the best one?

    • @gromaudio
      @gromaudio  Год назад

      They both are good :) The VLite VT2 is only CarPlay and Android Auto - both wireless and wired. The VLine VL2 is for CarPlay, Android Auto, and also a stand-alone Android system that allows you to install apps from the Google Play store directly to the system.
      As 2004-2007 Lexus LX 470 stereo is lower resolution, it makes more sense to get the cheaper model LEX4VT2 VLite VT2 system for just CarPlay and Android Auto. Check here:

    Hey nice video, will be buying Vline soon on 15 Oct when its back in stock.
    Do I need to remove cd changer wires or you didnt show how to disconnect cd changer wires in this video?

    • @gromaudio
      @gromaudio  Год назад

      You will need to follow to the installation instructions that are specific to your car stereo. The disconnection of the CD changer also depends on your specific car stereo. For LEX4 / LEX3 / LEXGS / LEXGX models of VLine external CD changer will need to be disconnected for VLine to work.

    Ok dude… you skipped the microphone and the satellite radio antenna, my vline definitely didn’t come with a flush mount usb, which would have been real nice to know about🤦‍♂️

      The flush mount is available on our website:

      We also have separate videos for the microphone and GPS routing, check our RUclips channel.

    Hey I bought this from you and its not working in my LX470… Do you know how to disconnect the wires for Cd changer that is in my arm
    Rest

    • @gromaudio
      @gromaudio  Год назад

      It depends on how the CD changer is connected. If something was connected to the back of the stereo to the place where you connected MCFTOY cable, you can leave it disconnected, as it might be the CD changer cable. Do not reconnect it back to the MCFTOY cable.
      If that will not help, or if that will disable something in your stereo system, you will need to locate the CD changer plug in the armrest and try to disconnect there.

      Disconnected from the arm rest side the cables of cd changer and connected Vline cable
      Your volume knob if not working , check if volume controls working from steering wheel buttons . If yes volume
      Knob is faulty
