Pay attention on the background noise on the lowlight snapshots. iPhone 6 plus is the clear winner - smooth (non-pixel) objects like on a real camera. The edges are only half of the thickness. For the average user maybe no difference - but for a photographer (or simply a guy who is used to DSLRs) - a heavy benefit for iP6+)
this will clear a lot of people doubts, I think after watching this video many would consider buying iphone6 the image stabilisation is actually not making much of difference
what you mean less noise for the low light? There was 2 things noticeble to me, the iphone 6 the pictures was brighter, and the 6 plus has more stabilization.
If you compare the images on the 3:46 mark, you can see that the image quality around the speaker opening for the iPhone 6 is giving more noise compare to the iPhone 6 Plus, this is an evidence that the iPhone 6 might be on a higher ISO setting compare to iPhone 6 Plus.
Hey what's up the introduction? The iphone 6 plus is the one shaking like crazy, yet it's the one that's supposed to have image stabilization? Did the footage get mixed up or mislabeled? Because the iphone 6 side seems to be almost perfectly still.
Apple utilized Cinematic Image Stabilizer on both iPhones and cause the video look almostly stable but if you look closely in the video... Other than that... the TERMINATOR photo there's some difference, the iPhone 6 Plus manage to let more light in and lowering down the ISO value so that the darker spot looks less noisy... You can see those noise creeping out on the iPhone 6 photo much 3:49
i'm considering both, thanks for this Saf. besides screen size, and the camera (which you just showed doesn't matter much), are there any other differences that would favor one over the other? this camera test makes them seem, as you say, pretty neck-and-neck. thanks again, keep up the good work! will love to see the iPhone 6/6+ vs. Samsung. could you also maybe compare to Google Nexus 5 (what my girlfriend has - she'll never leave android 😄 ).
Thanks for this comparison, very helpful.seems very little difference between both in daylight, however in extreme lowlight the 6 seems to have picked a higher ISO setting for a faster shutter speed and that made it slightly more grainy... i would say maybe about 1 stop difference..thats it. not much. as for stablization for video there was some talk going around that the optical stabilization is not being used for video in 6+ and it's only being used for stills...i think in erica griffin's review.. dont know if that was confirmed
Not sure if you did but want a much much better video in 1080 make sure you go into setting, photo camera, turn on 60fps within the settings and then record. Absolutely fantastic
I don't think a fixed lens camera would have optical stabilization. It would most likely have digital image stabilization, like most low end camcorders.
Thanks for providing us the camera comparison test.. I noticed the difference definitely. In the start there is a higher saturation on iPhone 6 video on flowers. Also low noise pictures quality on Iphone 6 Plus. I would go for Iphone 6 Plus :)
SuperSaf TV The past microphones of the iPhones were just awesome... Are the microphones of the new ones in your opinion also better than other phones? ...I mean, you were comparing the 6 to the S5, it sounded little bit dull to the S5.
Honestly the iPhone 6 plus with the optical image stuff looks more shaky than the regular 6. Unless that's because its your left hand holding the 6 plus. Not being funny either. I have the 6 and I think it takes amazing pictures, but I thought the 6 plus would be better.
At 3:35 you can see quite a big difference between the two. The out of focus background is more natural looking on the 6 plus, compared to a not so nice grainy look on the 6.
The iPhone 6 photo in low light is more grainy than the 6 Plus (look at the speakers and the blue lights in full HD). I think the 6 Plus probably uses a slower shutter speed but a better ISO so the image is just a tad better quality, maybe about a stop. Most image stabilizers in cameras or lenses give 2-4 stop differences. Having just one stop difference in the stabilization is not worth paying extra for if you're getting the plus just for the camera, imho.
Great video Both got perfect cameras only thing i noticed that the 6+ got faster auto focus other wise front camera not good at all but u look goid especially with that look & ur face expression with elevated eye brow :-)
iPhone 6 had more noise in low-light, otherwise, not much difference except for great image stabilization on 6+ with video. Totally agree with you on your conclusion!
Wow , if I had to say in most parts of your vid the 6+ shook more and the 6 looked just as good with vid and pics. I guess this can help people choose what phone to get the 6+ doesn't seem any better
Too short comparison of the videostabilization during walking. I've seen ppl achieving steadicam-look of videos with the iPhone 6 Plus just by hand-panning. I wanted to see a comparison while walking and trying to hold it still. When you walk it doesnt seem like you even try to hold them as still as possible.
I traded my galaxy s4 phone for the iPhone 6. This is my first iPhone ever. It's completely different from my old phone, it feels like it's a lot less to do with. You can't really customize it like an android phone. The camera is better than my old Galaxy s4 though. iPhone 6 is still a beautiful phone and even though you can't really do much I still like it👍👍
Isn't stabilization for movement not for low light. (as far as i know it from DSLRs) So if you want to do a better camera comparison, mount the camera next to each other and shoot video while you walk or driving a car.
in the dark indoor photo you can see that the 6plus has less grain because the plus can have longer exposures thanks to OIS. theyre both amazing though :) and with the video tests its unfair if youre holding one per hand because chances are your stronger hand (right if youre right handed) might be a little less shaky. thats what i find anyway with my hands, also the 6 plus is more difficult to hold which could potentially make it more difficult to hold so its more prone to shake ( im being really really picky though). either way great comparison man!
It seems to me there is better weather when you're shooting the video with an iPhone 6 plus than there is using the smaller version. LOL! Seriously, I think the images taken using the bigger phone is sharper.
Night stills there is less grain in your 6+ image vs your 6, the background was smoother and edges little more defined... I feel it's a super slight edge for the 6+ but I don't think enough to justify the jump in size and cost for those only doing it for a camera spec bump...
It is just me? Or do you have a problem also with the front camera? It seems that my front camera in my iphone6 plus is a little blurry or should i call it pixilated? Is there anything that i could fix those? I tried to check my 6plus with the 6 front camera and it looks like the iphone6 has a better quality picture compare to my iphone6 plus.. Is there any settings that i missed?ugh!
Thank you so much for doing this video. I was very close to buy the iPhone 6 Plus just for the optical image stabilization. I want the iPhone 6 becasue for me is the perfect size. Seeing your video helped me to choose the iPhone 6. Thank you.
So i don't want to be rude but there are differences with in the quality of pictures and vid with the iphone6 and the iPhone6 plus. I am a photography student so i can see the differences right away however it can be hard for others to do, The IPhone6 Plus seems to be a darker in terms of photos, while the IPhone6 is much lighter in its over all appearance. Example your photos with the T2 robot
I think the iPhone 6 Plus did use a slower shutter speed and a lower ISO. There's more distortion in the iPhone 6 low light image than in the one shot with the iPhone 6 Plus
Except for the Optical Image stabilization thing, IMO iPhone 6 looks to be much brighter and detailed in videos, doesn't seem to have any difference in image quality though, even though i was expecting it to.
it looked like the images from the iphone 6 had a bit more saturation in each image you showed, and it was even moire evident indoors. the 6 plus seemed to show more detail in your beard in the selfie shown.
Cross your eyes until both sides become one in the middle and see how awesome your brain is. You will see this video in 3d. In some cases while recording video the pictures are not the same (mostly when filming the building) and your brain will automatically select only the parts of the video which are the same, shortening your 3d view in the middle. wow
The Plus is definitely best for stabilisation but not by a great margin. Apple have done a very good job with the digital stabilisation on the 6 and, although not as smooth, its more than enough for a General Consumer.
in the last low liht picture iphone 6 its more noise with faster shutter speed due to higher iso setting and 6 plus its a bit cleaner thanks to OIS and lower iso setting and slower shutter speed. Also video is more smooth
Optical Image Stabilisation does not work for video recording, hence there is no difference in this video, it's only works for stills and the difference is insignificant
Wow even though the plus was expected to give more, they seem same and also i dont know why but the camera images of not plus one seems better to the eye O_O
Was waiting for a video like this, think this has confirmed my choice to just go for the iPhone 6 rather than the 6+, I'll maybe treat myself to the 128GB with the money I save haha! Keep up the great work mate, one of my favourite subscriptions and I've just graduated from DMU too, starting a postgrad there in a couple weeks!
the iphone 6 has decent, very acceptable, very capable broadcast video quality. We can use this paired with a stabilizer and a good lighting and audio and its money .
You need to mount them on the same mount and walk about while taking video to really tell the difference. Right now your hands shaking is in the equation and makes the comparison not so scientific..?
Discovered just this morning: My old ver 6 plus was measurably better than my 6s plus when running the app NightCap Camera. The higher density sensor (12 v 8 mp) makes widefield night photography a royal pain since the f stop is fixed. Only very bright stars light up such tiny pixels! My old phone died, and the s plus was a downgrade if your hobby is catching meteor falls. Sigh. Off to fleaBay!
Am I the only one who thought the 6 had better pictures than the 6 plus?
Is it me or both of them are the same thing? Actually the iPhone 6 appears to have better stabilization!
Exactly what I was thinking. I think Apple might have put the wrong cameras in the wrong phones.
That would be freaking hilarious
I thought the iPhone 6 had better stabilisation, than the 6 plus!!
If you look at the photo, the iPhone 6 seems to have a bit more noise.
The Geordie Gaijin I think its because the 6 is harder for him to hold in one hand, would of been better if he used a tripod
Pay attention on the background noise on the lowlight snapshots. iPhone 6 plus is the clear winner - smooth (non-pixel) objects like on a real camera. The edges are only half of the thickness.

this will clear a lot of people doubts, I think after watching this video many would consider buying iphone6 the image stabilisation is actually not making much of difference
Only for low-light Photos. But in terms of videos it has a too small mechanical compensation to have any impact.
you are correct
Great comparisons as usual Saf, much better and more useful than the other 'reviews' and comparisons around. Thanks!
The 6 plus definitely has less noise for the low light shot of the T2 skull. Cant believe you can't tell the difference.
Agree!!!
what you mean less noise for the low light?
There was 2 things noticeble to me, the iphone 6 the pictures was brighter, and the 6 plus has more stabilization.
you are damn right, sir. I've been struggling to find the difference, but the low light periphery of the fotos seem to have it.

Very helpful THANKS!
Really great video. High quality and very great over view of both cameras over all. Thumbs up (y)
Helpful video, could you possibly do a comparison between the 5s and 6 ? would be greatly appreciated
i'm considering both, thanks for this Saf. besides screen size, and the camera (which you just showed doesn't matter much), are there any other differences that would favor one over the other? this camera test makes them seem, as you say, pretty neck-and-neck. thanks again, keep up the good work! will love to see the iPhone 6/6+ vs. Samsung. could you also maybe compare to Google Nexus 5 (what my girlfriend has - she'll never leave android 😄 ).
samsung note
have you done a camera comparison 'tween that & iPhone 6/6+, Thomasina Josephine DeMaio?
Optical image stabilization is for only the camera photos. They both have cinematic video stabilization.
Was that outside demonfort hall in Leicester , I think I saw you making this video haha
It seems you are really excited to make iPhone videos, keep up 👌
Thanks for this comparison, very helpful.seems very little difference between both in daylight, however in extreme lowlight the 6 seems to have picked a higher ISO setting for a faster shutter speed and that made it slightly more grainy... i would say maybe about 1 stop difference..thats it. not much. as for stablization for video there was some talk going around that the optical stabilization is not being used for video in 6+ and it's only being used for stills...i think in erica griffin's review.. dont know if that was confirmed

Great job SuperSaf TV. Thanks for the update, you are awesome man. Keep it up.
Omg the iPhone 6 has a better camera than the plus.
No it doesn't.
That's what it seems to me as well. The images look slightly better on the 6 than the 6 plus.
yeah i did notice the shakiness in the +.... weird huh
No if u were a decent photographer u can tell that the 6 is slightly more blurry in most shots and videos and more detail in plus
@@ellystedman6830 the camera is not blurry
I'm chocked that there is no difference.. also.. very happy.. I wasn't sure which one to get, finally decided on the "smaller" one..
SuperSaf TV The past microphones of the iPhones were just awesome...

Do you do any thing special with audio when using iPhone footage? I have never been able to get good sound quality.
both of these phones are amazing
Great video! Thanks a million
Hey Saf. Thanks for buying the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus just for us.
im confused at the intro the iphone 6 plus looks like it has worse stabalization
the biggest difference for me is the larger field of view for the 6Plus !
White balance appears warmer on the PLUS? Also appears in the stills the Plus underexposes by .25-.5 a stop too?
At 3:35 you can see quite a big difference between the two. The out of focus background is more natural looking on the 6 plus, compared to a not so nice grainy look on the 6.
The iPhone 6 photo in low light is more grainy than the 6 Plus (look at the speakers and the blue lights in full HD). Most image stabilizers in cameras or lenses give 2-4 stop differences. Having just one stop difference in the stabilization is not worth paying extra for if you're getting the plus just for the camera, imho.
iPhone 6 cameras are superior to android cameras in every way except the megapixels. iPhone all the way for me!
note 4 is as good as the iphone 6 camera
Great video
Both got perfect cameras only thing i noticed that the 6+ got faster auto focus other wise front camera not good at all but u look goid especially with that look & ur face expression with elevated eye brow :-)
iPhone 6 had more noise in low-light, otherwise, not much difference except for great image stabilization on 6+ with video. Totally agree with you on your conclusion!
are you using the built in mic or a lavalier mic? thanks
Which of the two is a good camera phone
IPhone 6s vs iphone 6 plus
Wow , if I had to say in most parts of your vid the 6+ shook more and the 6 looked just as good with vid and pics. I guess this can help people choose what phone to get the 6+ doesn't seem any better
Always great videos....

Cámara test with iPhone 5s please
the ultimate test would be when you film a moving object from another moving object. this is when the optical image stabilizer will show its muscle.
Night stills there is less grain in your 6+ image vs your 6, the background was smoother and edges little more defined...
I feel it's a super slight edge for the 6+ but I don't think enough to justify the jump in size and cost for those only doing it for a camera spec bump...
SuperSaftv Were the phones right side by side? If so it seem the 6 + has a lower MM lens than the 6 there a wider view during the video.
5S vs 6 Plus, plz. :)
In 3:45 the iPhone 6 Plus had a very considerable better image. Plz
It is just me? Or do you have a problem also with the front camera? It seems that my front camera in my iphone6 plus is a little blurry or should i call it pixilated? Bro plzz tell me I want to buy 6 plus or 6 s plus
Same gud cam. Both has 1.55 mm each micropixels
The stills on the iPhone 6 plus looks slightly more saturated.
The mic is very quiet on both.
how win ? iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 plus ?
How is that stable one shaking more...
6 plus image stabilization looks a little better when moving, and so it should.
The Plus is definitely best for stabilisation but not by a great margin. Apple have done a very good job with the digital stabilisation on the 6 and, although not as smooth, its more than enough for a General Consumer.
0:50 wtf colors??
Yh the colors r completely different shades

Optical Image Stabilisation does not work for video recording, hence there is no difference in this video, it's only works for stills and the difference is insignificant
Please do an Iphone 6 Plus vs LG G3 !! OIS & Laser Autofocusing !
Good vid!
Wow even though the plus was expected to give more, they seem same and also i dont know why but the camera images of not plus one seems better to the eye O_O
Thanks for the review!
Funny how the iphone 6 plus shakes more then the 6..............
That's hilarious they've added image instability to the 6 plus nice 😂
Not necessarily he held them on both hands
Because HIS hand is shaking or something
Victoria Zuniga Yeah
At the minute 3:48, the iPhone 6 pic have more noise, it looks a little bit better on the iPhone 6 plus, but yeah, both are good.
Was waiting for a video like this, think this has confirmed my choice to just go for the iPhone 6 rather than the 6+, I'll maybe treat myself to the 128GB with the money I save haha! the iphone 6 has decent, very acceptable, very capable broadcast video quality. We can use this paired with a stabilizer and a good lighting and audio and its money .
I like iPhone 6's front and video.. :-)))
those low light still images show that 6 Plus shoots better photos under low light condition: lower noise and more details compared to 6
this is the first I've ever heard a person with an Indian/English accent.
What the hell? U live under a rock?
I can't see any difference between both cameras either!?
Image stabilisation only affects the camera if it's moving? If you hold them dead still there will be no difference?
ever so slightly stadier on specific actions
You need to mount them on the same mount and walk about while taking video to really tell the difference. Right now your hands shaking is in the equation and makes the comparison not so scientific..?
Optical image stabilization shouldn't impact low light quality, all it does is reduce blur when your hand is moving.

The flowers definitely looked different.
Good
No matter what you say,do or test its still an 8 megapixel camera.....
Video DOESNT use optical stabilisation
Omg Leicester! I've been watching your videos for ages and didn't even realise! I'm from leicester.
in last photo sample iPhone 6 Plus clearly produce less noise the iPhone 6.
but iPhone 6 is best for me because of 4.7" screen size.. :-)
i think you have mixed the names .... iphone 6 plus seems to be the left one
cant believe they even need to be compared.
good job thanks ;) "LG G3 OR Z3 VS IPHONE 6 PLUS PLEASE"
